They deserve zero stars. We (the only black table) waited and waited ...never got any service all while watching the female server prance around like a school girl around the gentlemen inside. Folks who came in after we did were served while the staff glanced in our direction with not so much as a "I'll be right with you". Finally we left and went to Amici nearby where we got excellent food and service. We will never go back there and don't recommend anyone to go there either.
Happy I found this place. Ever since a few other Thai restaurants closed down, decent pad Thai has been tough to find. Located in village commons, Nara is easy to access and the prices are reasonable. Look forward to continued business here.
I took my sister and niece who were in town from the West coast and they were very happy! This place was so wonderful and our server was kind and attentive. We enjoyed wings, calamari, vegetable and shrimp tempura, ramen & pork noodle soup and two specialty rolls (raw). ALL were delicious! We were eating off each other's plates and loving every bite. I'm sure when they visit again, they'll want to go back. Also it's one of the few places that has Sapporo Light (one of my favorites!). Try this restaurant!!!
Food was not good and the service was lacking. We watched 3 waitress serve the out side customers attentively while we sat inside waiting after finishing our appitizer. Had to wave down the waitress to remember to serve us. They walked pass multiple time without asking us if we wanted to order more. This place definitely needs some better attentive waiters to their customers. I ordered tonkotsu ramen and the noodles came stuck together like it has been sitting out before they poured the broth over them. Very unimpressed. My fiancée ordered the mongolian beef and it didnt taste like any beef we have ever had. Fake meat ?! ??♂️ We try to give this place many tries but seems like it gets worst and worst everytime we come in. We wont be coming back. There are better options.
I was there last Saturday and they had a full house we order some entries and it took sometime to get out order of calamari when it finally made to our table it was cold we mentioned to our waitress he took back to the kitchen and they re fried the same portion again so you can imagine the results it was rubbery soggy in oil the food ordered was also mediocre the fry rice did not taste right and the streak was cold we eat because we were there for a long time and were hungry but the results was that all 3 of us gotten food poisoning the next day. Stay away if you don’t want to pay a high price to get sick. ( ordered 2 types of sushi rolls, 3 entries a grouper wit veggies and a steak fried rice )
The sushi and sashimi are excellent. The soups are incredible. I've eaten here 3 times and it's been great every time. It's in a strip mall, so don't expect a fine dining experience
Wonderful staff, super friendly, and the sushi is absolutely wonderful. Haven’t gotten a single thing from here that was anything less than delicious.
I came in to dine with my girl and I was in for a surprise! The Tom yum soup was traditional, you can tell it’s authentic Thai by the taste. We ordered “Ex on the Beach” and “Babygirl”… I’ve eaten sushi all over, and man it’s def on point! I disagree with the negative reviews about it being “fishy” or “sub-par”. I’d def come back! We like to go to Nara not only for its Sushi Rolls and delicious rice but also for its nice atmosphere, how ever in the last visits we have had a lady as our waitress and the experience has totally changed, never a greeting, never an eye contact never a friendly face, just an unhappy waitress making us feel unwelcome. Thankfully there is the other server who has also served us before and he with his kindness , good vibes and Cust service saved yesterday visit.
Cozy family owned business with top notch personal touch customer service and delicious food. Lots of seating, easy parking and open late. Ryan makes the next Watermelon Japanese Caipirinhas! They have lots of regular customers for a reason. Great local spot worth trying for sure.
