I stayed at a local hotel and they had an ad for Mr. Mack’s. If you show your room key you get a free meal. The cashier had to get the boss, I’m assuming it was Mr. Mack. He said the free meal was the chicken, so we ordered chicken and oxtail meals. We added 2 beef patties, too. Everything was good. They were bumping dancehall, my favorite! I wanted to dine in for the music, but hubby wasn’t a big fan. :/
Great surprise! I decided to try a new takeout restaurant for ?? food and Mr Mack's was a nice surprise. The food is seasoned spot on and not as spicy as a lot of Jamaican restaurants. Delicious??
OMG! Absolutely YES!!! The food is more than delicious, The customer service, which is…treats you like family. I can not say enough good tings about it… we all had oxtail (which was 3 of us) because why would you not have oxtail at a Jamaican place???? Far from where I live, which is in Jacksonville but was in WPB because daughter was in town for a college summer program. Overall just thrilled about everyting bout it, wish I had more time to eat curry goat, soups and all of the good offerings here. JUST DO IT, GO THERE! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
This is a cute little hideaway restaurant with home cooked food. The people are always kind and give service with a smile. The restaurant and restroom is clean and well kept.
Oxtail is always on point. Jerk Chicken is the best in town. The staff welcomes you with warmth. Much respect.
Amazing staff, amazing food, and amazing prices!From the second I walked onto the location I was met with the amazing smell of freshly smoked chicken hot off the grill.When I went inside I met the cashier who is one of the friendliest people I have ever met. She provided excellent recommendations for my friend and I without trying to upsell or anything of the sort.The food itself was some of the best chicken I have ever had in my life! I had the barbecue chicken and my buddy had the jerk chicken. The barbecue chicken was cooked to perfection and the jerk chicken had enough spice to make my friend slightly tear up, all while maintaining a massive amount of flavour.I don't live in the area unfortunately as I was just visiting, however I am eager to come back and visit this restaurant again. I absolutely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a fantastic meal
The most authentic place for Jamaican food I’ve found with a great welcoming atmosphere .. the jerk chicken & brown stew chicken hits the spot every time .. only thing is my orders were made incorrectly but human error is understandable .. that’s the only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 ..
Initially came because of a coupon but they didn't honor it. The employee raised her voices at me as if its my fault its my being advertised. I really wanted jamaican so I decided to get food there anyway. My jerk chicken was ok but the cabbage was way to spicy so I had to toss it. My friends escovich fish left little to be desired. Actually there was the smallest amount of fish on the bones once you open it up. On top of that it was abiut $20 for the platter which is way too over priced for the amount of fish you get. My friend was quite upset and left hungry. Had to buy a whole other meal at the next restaurant.
It was our first time to try to order these food and it was soo yummy!! We ordered bbq chicken,oxtail, curry goat and shrimp and no complain… and also the sauce of bbq chicken was soo good!! You won’t regret it..and customer service was amazing.. keep up the good work!!
The Jerk Chicken is excellent got to have it spicy if you like the spice I love that it has a bit of smoky finish to it the place is fantastic I would recommend anyone who wants good food
