McCray you must do better bro.. Chicken was dry seem like it was cooked three days ago came with small baby feed sides The sweet tea was good but over all the meal was not worth the money. McCray do better bro it was my first time to your restaurant I'm not impressed.
Meal was way too overpriced for the amount and size of ribs, on top of that there was little to no meat on the rib itself. The ribs were cut in half, so it wasn't even a full-sized rib. You can expect to have a bad time if you decide to visit McCray's Backyard Bar-B-Q & Seafood. We won't be donating money to this waste of space.
cook the meats until there done with no blood in the meat.customer service can improve. I stood in line for 15 and never got served so I had to get in my vehicle to get service.but a white couple walked up and got service FAST.every time I try to support here,I still have to go home and rebook the meat.collards are good though
It's actually a Great BBQ SPOT THAT YOU CAN SIT DOWN AND EAT AT WHICH ALSO SERVES SEAFOOD LIKE SHRIMP, CONCH & FISH INCLUDING MANY MORE SIDES AND DEALS ON THE MENU.

I was unpleased with food. I expected it to a lot better than it was. I order the red snapper, couch fritter dinner that was nasty. Small portion of side. The food taste as if it was cooked the day before and reheated. I thought by it being rate a good review it was okay but it turn out to be disappointed. The bad thing I was from out of town and it was first time visiting the restaurant. Don't plan to visit there anymore especially when I'm very hungry.
Had the pulled pork combo with fries and a coke. The pulled pork was right up there with the best PP I've ever had. Fries were also delicious. Fountain drink was kinda flat and gross. When the food is that good, who need a drink! Lol
These ribs aren't for the faint of heart. The ribs had a beautiful barky crust with killer dry rub and tender meat and bone that only an experienced carnivore can appreciate. They didn't need sauce, but the "Twist" as it's coined makes for a spiritual BBQ experience. The collards were as good as I've had and the baked beans taste just like my mother's. I was able to get a behind the scenes look and the food was super fresh and the kitchen was absolutely spotless. Chef D-Mac lives up to his nickname and the people are great. Please upport great family owned businesses like this gem, people.
We have been trying to get here for years. Very disappointed. Brisket is our new love as we had it from the Fresh Market and it is juicy, fresh, smoked for 17 hours. We thought that we would compare, NO COMPARISON. McCrays is just a big hunk of stringy beef with no taste or juice. Had to put sauce on it. They have a smoker but failed to use it. Never again. Waste of time and money. Mac and cheese we make better at home. However, collards were great.
My kids and I visited an hour ago. Omg, our server/Casher “Aaliyah” was everything and more. Her smile light up my day and her energy was so warming/safe for my kids. Customer service is Not for everyone but you Queen Aaliyah, you have what it take. We will most definitely be back because of her and the DELICIOUS foods. Thank you ??
