Was on a business trip and looking for something vegan in the area when I stumbled upon La Chia Vegana. Let me warn you first off the eatery is easy to miss when trying to find it, La Chia Vegana is located in a multipurpose building where kids come to play soccer and unfortunately there's not much signage indicating it's presence beyond a neon vegan light in the window. But finding this little hidden gem was worth it! The cuban sandwich was amazing and left me wanting more, oyster mushrooms are used and it blew me away. Had to be the best Cuban sandwich I've had since eating vegan cuisine. The other menu items were all prepared and made with love too, with standouts being the Guava Coconut Cake ( Yes its as good as it sounds) and Tembleque a puerto staple that's tough to find outside of family events. I was delighted to see it on the menu! Do yourself a favor if you're in West Palm beach make it a point to try La Chia Vegana during your stay!
Wow! Just got my delivery order from this place and it is awesome and fresh (even the nachos made the delivery trip in great condition!). I called ahead of my grub hub order to see if they could do the popular mac n cheese gluten free too, and she did that for me! One thing I hope I can help clarify for all the vegans out there: when this menu says "feta" cheese or anything that is spelled like actual dairy cheese (not the vegan knock-off version), the meal is STILL vegan!! They use dairy free feta, etc. To the woman who I spoke with on the phone today, thank you for doing what you do! -Marisa
I loved coming here! Jennifer is an amazing chef with an amazing personality! Her food is amazing, and not too pricey. A great place to get comfort food and healthy food. Loved my Buffalo chicken wrap! ?
I love acai bowls, try new ones everywhere I go and always give small businesses a shot. I was so disappointed by this one. First, when I walked in and stated I was there to pick up my order, the guy did not utter a single word. He just looked at me, tied the bag, and handed it to me. Is this how people just do business now? No one greets you but they talk to their friends that come in or the other staff very friendly, they don't say hello, here it is, thanks for stopping by, just blank stares. It's not welcoming at all. It makes a person feel like you'd rather not have their business. There's another place I usually get my bowls from when I'm in the area and believe me giving this place a chance was disappointing knowing that I could've went there.As for the bowl, it was nothing special, didn't have much fruit on it, and melted pretty quickly. I didn't take a picture of it because there was nothing to take a picture of, it was so ugly. Maybe something else tastes better but I'll never know.Edited to add that I had a very hard time finding the place, didn't see a visible sign from outside to confirm that I was going in the right door.
I had the cubanito sandwich and the arepa and they were both so delicious and freshly made. The owner is very friendly and helpful. The environment is very chill, clean and the music is a vibe.
I love La Chia Vegana all the food items are mouth watering and I dream about them all the time!! This place is a gem and Heaven all in one. Thank you for being the best. Food is made with Extra love here and all Vegan :)
The food was delicious! It’s a bit hidden from the outside but found it in the lobby of the City Soccer building. Will definitely be back!
Cubanito was recommended, and I see why. It was delish! So was the Mac and cheese. Customer service was excellent, and their mission for why they provide this cuisine is worth the trip. Will definitely be back.
