The food is Amazing!!! Fried to perfection. Crunchy on the outside, soft flavorful fish on the inside without the extra oil you get if it sits too long. It is worth the price. Fab took our order and was friendly upbeat, and since this was our first time, helpful on the ordering process. I would have given this 5 star but our negative experience was an employee named Jada. I hope she is new and just needs some more training. She brought out our fish named them incorrectly then when we said we didn’t order that fish her response was “ well, it’s whatever you ordered” and she turned to leave. We had to tell her twice, but we didn’t order perch so is that what this is? She just turned and looked towards another employee across the room who came over to help her. I didn’t get the other employees name but she knew her fish! She helped poor Jada out and made sure we had the correct order. I will definitely be back to Hook’s and I am not a fried food lover. If you are in the area go! You won’t be disappointed with the food.
Im soooooo disappointed of how I paid for a $23 for shrimp and conch dinner. Never again and they barely put any conch on the plate I've been to ur other hooks close to state road 7 and service was awesome and u get what u pay for.
It's hard to find the words to describe how unbelievably good their food is. It's funny too because we were looking on Google for a restaurant to go to on a Friday night, and Chili's had a 45-minute wait. So, I went to the Googles to find another option, and this place popped up under "American Food", I have no idea why. I mean the title has "Fish" in it.That said, fish and chicken is what they serve, amongst a series of other sides and drinks. The restaurants business model is that of an actual restaurant, but the bulk of their clientele is take-out. And I mean A LOT of take-out. But if you want to dine in like we do, you'll most likely always find an open table.I got a chance to talk to one of the owners and she pointed out that they cook "Real chicken", and the flavor speaks to that for sure. It is in my opinion that this the best chicken in town. I've also tasted their shrimp, catfish, and hush puppies. The hush puppies were especially surprising. They were not dry and had a really nice, garlicy flavor to them.The buffalo chicken strips are still my favorite though. But the menu is loaded with a ton of really good options, so I strongly suggest trying out several things. I haven't been disappointed yet. They have two locations, but I've only been to the one off of 704 Hwy (Okeechobee Boulevard). It is fantastic, and they are very pleasant there.Seriously, go check them out.
WOW! I have never experienced this type of customer service at any Hooks. I decided to order lunch today from Hooks online (which is very convenient). As soon as I placed my order I received a phone call from a young lady just confirming my order so they can make it fresh. They also asked if I wanted to add any additional condiments. When I get there I am greeted with a smile. I love the fact that they check your ID and credit card to make sure everything adds up and no one is using your card without your permission. Lets just say I was a happy customer and I will definitely be back! I also love the décor inside the restaurant. :-)
This place has the best chicken ? & seafood ? you'd ever want to eat. I've eaten good food before and I've had great food but these people are that run this place are really nice, kind , and conciderate people. The atmosphere is friendly. And all so welcome-ly. I tell you what I will be returning to eat here again with my family and friends for sure.
I just had the BEST experience at this location. This was my first time inside, as I usually order through UberEats. The moment I walked in I received a warm welcome. The customer service here is TOP NOTCH! The restaurant is clean all the way back to the kitchen. I walked away feeling good before I even ate the food, which is always fresh and cooked to order. With staffing issues everywhere, good customer service is hard to find. Thanks for getting it right!
I love this place and it is Black owned. I like when going in they all said Welcome when you come in the door. I gave my order and the lady did ask if I wanted extra seasoning or not on my order. It took about 15 minutes and my order was ready and hot. I got the catfish, wings, shrimp and fries combo. It was all great to eat and not greasy. I will be back again
I’ve been to this Hooks about 5 times since they’ve opened. And shall I say they always go over and beyond my expectations and the staff is always great. Not to mention they acknowledge you by your name which is always a plus when running a business. Communication is always great !!! Thank you for always making my experience not only good but PERFECT !!!!!!
They are so friendly, the food is amazing, always hot and fresh. The atmosphere is welcoming a true sense of family. They know you by name and I love how they keep your order history.
I love eating at this Hooks. The customer service is very professional. The quality and quantity is always consistently the same...which is EXCELLENT
