My bad. My mistake. I said the wrong thing and ordered the wrong thing today. And, plus this location was busy earlier. I only returned for a refund because I had somewhere to be and could not wait for the meal to be prepared againAnyway, here's the review.I have been coming here since way back. So far back that at the time this was the only Hooks I knew about. I was an early teen maybe even younger. Even when there's a line, don't mind, it's guaranteed to be fresh. Even if there isn't a line, the food will still be fresh. This is my favorite regional fast food restaurant. Fast fried chicken and seafood. It's the seasoning. Taste so good, it'll make you turn around and go back in.P.S. Thanks Hooks for acknowledging years ago after trying everything on the menu the grouper was my favorite filet. Yet, there was no grouper with five shrimp and fries. Sometimes, I can't eat a grouper and ten shrimp. I used to ask for this and pay the difference to be prepared as such when ordering a number one or number four, simply switch the catfish or tilapia with a grouper, this was years ago because my preference was not on the menu. But, guess what, head in and try that Adventurous Loner meal, grouper, five shrimp and fries, number 34! I bet anybody is turning around and going back in.
Best, ever. I wish they franchised I would open them nationwide. Love how the owner works the counter. Has to be tough for him. Best jumbo shrimp ever.
The food is good but only when it's hot and seasoned. Sometimes they're so busy they forget your items. The seasoning is the only reason most people go back. Long wait times in line, parking lot always full. And when you order pickup they don't start making the order UNTIL you get there. ?
Food is always spot on! Staff is friendly and service is good. always has been takeout which is just fine I also drive for doordash and receive multiple orders daily for both locations so others must feel the same way.
The place was crowded….we stopped in and ordered a few meals consisting of shrimp chicken and fish! Everything was amazing and the prices are very reasonable!
The guy who was cashiering 6pm in the afternoon was rude and unprofessional . He needs to watch his slick mouth .. rushing people to make a decision like he have somewhere to be other than hooks. He also need to give people their receipt and speak the order number instead of the actually food order. It’s people like him that makes good customers stay away !
Excellent seafood, I came here with my friends and had good spicy food. It was great experience!

Best fried chicken around don’t sleep on hooks
The BEST hooks location! I literally pass every other hooks and drive all the way from Boynton to Palm Beach Lakes JUST for some hooks! I’ve NEVER been disappointed at this location, the drive through lines are almost always long but the food is ALWAYS hot, fresh, & delicious! The service is great! Always a friendly person taking orders at the drive through window. I’ll definitely continue to drive to Palm Beach for hooks!
