Food selection was predictable for a small mexican restaurant but we found the tachos and burritos very dry.
It's rare to eat at a Mexican restaurant and not be served chips and salsa while you wait for dinner. Would have given them 5 stars if they had. Food was good. Sangria was good.
My wife and I had dinner on Tuesday, March 29. We sat outside in an area off the main patio because we had biked to the restaurant and wanted to keep an eye on our bikes. They allowed us to bring them into the patio area since they were not extremely busy. We ordered a medium guacamole and chicken fajitas. We both had a soda which came in a can. Although getting waited on initially was a bit slow, because we were not on the main patio, once our wait person did come to our table things improved rapidly. The medium guacamole tasted as good as guacamole we recalled from our trips to Mexico. It was fresh, substantial and delicious. The chicken fajitas was plenty for the two of us. in fact, we did had to ask for additional tortillas in order to use all the fillings. The service after our order was taken was perfect. The cost of the meal was $34 before tip. We would definitely recommend this restaurant and we will probably go back before our week in this here is over.
There are not a lot of restaurants on Singer Island, but this one is well worth the visit. It isn't very big, so be prepared to wait. There is inside and outside seating. The menu offers a variety of dishes but the portions are not huge. The prices are very reasonable. I had the shrimp fajitas which were tasty but didn't come in the screaming hot cast iron pan that you may be used to. It came with rice and beans. The service was great as were the drinks.
Very average at best. We had been excited for some Mexican food, so we were very disappointed by our experience. We ordered dinner burritos, chips and queso, and margaritas. Everything was way over priced for a meal that I could have easily made at home. At that price point, the food needs to be better.
I got the lunch tacos! One chicken and one carne asada. Absolutely delicious! The steak was amazing. They make the chips fresh and you can taste it. Definitely recommend checking them out! Food was great, prices were decent, and they have a great outdoor eating area.

I ate here the past two nights and would go back again tonight. Made to order, delicious, no frills, and nice wait staff.

Very average at best. Hard to understand menu. Were told entrees came with rice and beans…they did not. Had seen that they had a daily happy hour. Only for margaritas. I’m not sure how they won a 2021 TripAdvisor award. So many wonderful restaurants in the area. This was not one of them.
