Food is good fort the most part but youll wait 40+ minutes and also when you call and make orders its litarally for no reason sometimes because when you get there and tell them your order name thats when they'll start to make it then so the entire time a persons on the phone taking up an order that they know they will not make is really unprofessional i support Black Businesses but i dont support unprofessionalism atleast hire more workers if the vast majority of customers waiting hours at be and the cashier person is just simply clueless as to whats going on please do better my Zoes
I'm afraid I might get sick from the griot I partially ate... I ordered through doordash and the order was wrong. I ordered black rice and beans and received red rice and beans that was hard and smelled TERRIBLE. I didn't even eat it due to the smell. I ordered plantains for my side and they gave me salad drenched in ranch dressing instead. Didn't touch that either. The fried pork was mainly fat with little meat and had strange discolorations on it. I ate a few pieces (which I now regret) and tossed the rest in the trash. This place needs to be inspected by the Health Dept.
This place started off ok, service always been kinda slow, but now the place sucks all around the board. Can rarely call and order because the lines are either busy or they just don't answer, food is mediocre, and the women who work there are rude as hell. They're literally their own downfall. This place is a joke.
Horrible customer service, the lady on the phone is so nasty, even if the food was good, the long wait and customer service makes it not worth it. All the lady wants to do is argue.
I ordered lalo, whatever they give me look nothing like lalo, that thing looks disgusting and gross, clearly they don’t know how to make it but wanna sale it . Do better people .
Bad Service Bad Food! The food is usually “just ok”! Definitely not the best Haitian food I’ve ever had. But the food I got yesterday was as spoiled. I smelled it as soon as I opened the container. It made me think about the last time they got shut down for a health inspection violations. NO MORE FOR ME! Maybe Prosperity of Family restaurant next time.
I ordered white rice and bean sauce. When I poured the beans on the rice I could smell a strong sour scent so I knew the food was spoiled. I went back to the restaurant to get a refund and they were very rude to me. The manager told me “FUCK YOU WE DONT GIVE REFUNDS” not to forget to mention I’m pregnant and it made me sick!
The only reason I gave this place 1 star is because 0 or negative stars were not available. I went there and stood in the lobby for a good 5 minutes after ringing the bell, because no one was present. After someone acknowledged my presence, they ask me "what you want " and then asked "you got cash". Apparently they don't take cards. The 2 ladies working there were extremely rude. Customer service at this place sucks and the food's not that good either. I will NEVER go here again. Skip this place and try Prosperity Island.
The only reason i am giving this 1 star is because it's not possible to give 0 stars. The women that work there are beyond rude and lazy. I called to place an order, was told 15 minutes. I arrived and waited in the lobby for over 15 minutes while they sat in the kitchen having personal side conversation. Not only does their service suck but they place also isn't very well kept. They have been shut down for health and safety in the past, stay far away.
The food is amazing but their customer service is horrible!!!! The wait is ridiculous. They don’t answer the phone. Good luck getting the food but once you get it you won’t regret it.
