Jerked chicken was amazing and so were the beef and jerked chicken patties!Platters were large and ordered enough to have leftovers to feed 2 people around $40! Highly recommend to anyone looking for Jamaican Cuisine
I came in to for lunch to try this place out and I ordered the festival, bbq chicken with white rice and the spicy beef patty. Good thing I ordered the festival and patty because all I would be able to eat would be the rice. This is the one next to the Walmart Neighborhood. As you can see by the picture, the chicken was so dried out I could not eat it. I think I was able to get two small morsels of chicken. Everything else was so dry and there were more bones than chicken. It was a big waste of $12.99 for this meal. No wonder the place was empty during lunch hour. Trying to find where I can post a picture of this nasty chicken.
I came in here today to get beyond patties and they didn't have any.... Okay. Then I asked about their veggie patties and they were also out of them.... Okay. So I asked for a lunch plate and they said it's only available on week days.... What? But okay. So I ended up getting a small vegetable plate - I don't eat meat - and paid $9 for some rice, cabbage and two small plantains.It muffled my hunger and got the job done but I wasn't impressed by the food, the price or the lack of menu items and I likely won't ever be back.
We catered this morning and chose you to represent Caribbean American heritage.Thank you.You delivered about 50 mealsTo include several mini beef patty.No one was able to eat the foodIt was too salty and swimming oil.The Pattie’s lacked beef.Today at least 30 people was not happy with their breakfast. And others took note and refused to even try.I know how salt fish should taste like but this was way too salty.The same batch of salt fish was incorporated in other dishes as well.That’s a shame because I know how good this could be.
I had an amazing experience here had to share it. I have lunch here every day. It is always clean and the ladies on the front are always cheerful, patient and well knowledgeableThanks Golden Kristen for providing great food.
What’s the point in having an “express patty lane” if you just keep taking orders from those in the regular line? They also never have shrimp patties. The ladies in this location always have an attitude and they don’t greet the customers at all. I’ve gone to the location in Hollywood FL plenty of times & always have a better experience than here. The prices are also more at this location. I would not recommend.
Food is good, they need to do better service. The lady's always seem bothered by your order. Not pleasant at all!
Food sucks!! And after ordering $25.00 worth of food,I asked for a small plate and they told me I have to pay another 50 cents?? I'm from Tampa and use to the good vibes, I have recently opened a business in the area and I will warn ppl about this place,lady was rude no good vibes.. p.s. why be so cheap not to give a paying customer an extra plate? Never coming back. There originator must be turning in his grave.
Best golden krust I've visited in Florida! They actually speak when you walk in and have good customer service. Not alot of Jamaican restaurants can say that!
food is trash i did not ask for a refund i simply notified the manger on site, she told me it was my taste buds very rudely rather then arguing with her i decided to leave a review no point of going back and forth i assume she thought that i was asking for my money back which i did not.I’ve ate at this location very often since it opened less then 2 years ago, to get this type of service i would spend my money else where (reggae jerk - yard spice curlys - dutch pot -let’s dish and plenty of other places to choose from)yes this is the gentleman with the blue shirt i wouldn’t have posted any pictures, left a review if you weren’t so rude while on the phone.
