Decided to stop coming from Jupiter. The food was excellent. We ordered oxtail, rice and peas with cabbage. Curry goat and rice was ok. The servers could be a lot more welcoming but other than that everything was good. The place itself was nice and clean. Would recommend this location

Inconsistent quality. I only buy curried goat or oxtail. The first time I tried this military trail location the food was very good. Since recently they have been serving rice and peas that is obviously reheated and in one instance the rice was straight up rancid. I called a manager to inform them and told her my experience. I went there recently again and the served stale rice and peas again. You people need to stop serving stale rice and peas because your oxtail is very expensive!!! Never ever going back .
For a caribbean restaurant, this is one of THE WORST. Oxtail? NO FLAVOR, Escovitch fish? NO FLAVOR. The basics, rice and peas, spinach rice? NOT EVEN A TOUCH OF SALT. I want you guys to go back to the drawing board and throw out all your seasonings and try again. I'm really disappointed and the food is $30 a plate. If I didn't pay for this, I would throw it away.
First when I walked in the place smells delicious and the place is very clean. I’ll give it that. I asked about the lunch special and it was 6 mins to 11. So the young lady says we start at 11. So I said ok it’s 6 mins till so can we start now? She just looked at me…no response. Me with a smile I said ok I’ll do the oxtails lunch special. Again she never said anything to me but asked it I wanted rice and peas. Not aware since this was my first time there that Oxtails were not on the lunch menu. When it was time to pay for my meal the oxtail dinner came up to $25. I asked the lady were the oxtails on the lunch menu she told me no. Now if I ordered it like that I should have been told that from the beginning. So I told her if I had known that I wouldn’t have ordered that and ordered something else. Customer service goes a long way. Understand what the customers are asking and reply to their question. I just wish I had more of a friendly service when coming there. No hello, no smile no advertising your specials. Anyway the food was excellent so cuddos to the chief!
I would never ever ever ever ever ever buy back at this restaurant. I bought barbecue chicken and festivals and omg………! I was very disappointed and upset because I drove 20 mins to go there. Long story short. The chicken was very very very extremely hard and the festival’s omg it was hard like a rock and also the patty it was hard. Like they had the food from weeks ago and now put it out to sell it. Very disappointed. Never will I go back to this place.
I really didn't expect much when I came here since I was just stopping by to get lunch, but sad to say, I was grossly disappointed. I am not even sure if anything will be done about the situation but I must voice my discontentment. I have never been disrespected before in this manner, all for just minding my business and trying to purchase food. And all of this is because of one worker: a tall, slender, young man (wish I had a name) who seem to have no home training and definitely no customer service skills. While standing patiently waiting for the person who was actually serving me to check on something in the back, this young man walks out and mumbles something to me, I asked him to repeat, he did but I was still not sure what he said so I explained I was waiting on someone who was checking if they had patties and she is on her way back. Somehow that aggravated him it seems, and he said "ova desso patty sell," in an aggressive tone and waved me off to the side. Luckily I am Jamaican so I could understand his raw patois. Yet, I did not move because frankly I do not take orders like that and my server was coming back to meet me where I was standing. The other two young ladies I saw in the front were polite, friendly and very attentive to customers. The restaurant was clean and the food looks delicious. However, please keep that guy in the back. I hope this is seen by management.
Golden krust on Military and Summit .Small portions . If I order a large curry goat I expect a large not a small with a large amount of rice. When asked if I could get more goat I was told “ what more do you want I have you three scoops!” I’ll be taking my business to the Dutch pot on haverhill. 20 dollars for a small portionGolden crust on Military and Summit
I have a Golden Krust right in my neighborhood, but I drive 20 mins out of my way to go this one. These cooks give me better quality food and the best service. The oxtail is good. The veggies are great. The plantains are almost always ripe. And the portions make you feel like you’re getting your money’s worth. That is ALWAYS what I look for. Quality AND quantity and I’ll always happily pay. Keep it up guys!
Disgusted with this place. Countless times I've gone there to be served a spoon full of food for almost $20 a plate. Very overpriced and overrated. You all should be ashamed of yourselves..seriously!
