We had a couple of great sandwiches at Firehouse subs today. I had a jerk chicken, and my wife had The Engineer. Both were very good. Also, the staff, both girls that were working, were very friendly and accommodating. When the soda machine wouldn’t work, they were happy to give us bottles instead. Would definitely recommend and we will be back next time we’re in the area.
I ordered a salad and when I got all the way home in the Gardens my salad was brown. I had to drive all the way back to Okeechobee Blvd. I asked her why she would sale me this brown lettuce and not take out a fresh bag. All she could say is sorry. She wouldn’t need to say sorry if she wasn’t so lazy and didn’t care. First time having a problem and I noticed all new staff. They need more training.
I did not have the best experience today at Firehouse Subs. Disappointing, because I know the chain is great and so is the food, so unfortunately it was just this particular location. I was the second person in line when I walked in at 11:59AM and there were quite a few people waiting for their food. Ordered my food, I had gotten a large cheesesteak combo, with a side salad and fountain drink. I also added mushrooms to my sandwich which was an additional charge. It came to about $22 for lunch...I walked over to the fountain drink machine, to be met with a note that said Coke Zero and Diet Coke were out. Okay, I chose a Sprite Zero. Sprite Zero was carbonated water. Went for the Fanta Orange Zero, was orange and carbonated but had no flavor? So I resorted to just water. So I paid for free water. If I would have known, I probably would not have gotten the combo. Next, I waited 40 minutes to get my sub. And so did 3 other people. The person in front of me as well as a gentleman who was already waiting when I had walked in. He must have been there for 50 minutes at least by that point. Finally I got my sub and was able to run out by 12:47pm. The girl called my name and placed it on the table top counter directly in front of me. She didn't even look me in the eye or tell me she was apologetic for the wait. I didn't hear that from the other 5 or 6 team members that were also behind the counter either. When I rushed to get back to work, I opened the box while sitting at my desk (now having to sit at my desk to eat because I was so late back) and I scanned the sandwich. Not a single mushroom was in the sandwich. So $22 later, I did not get my combo drink, I got time cut additionally from work that I currently cannot afford to cut and I also got overcharged for toppings I did not receive. Thank you Firehouse Subs for the perfect Thursday lunch.
Took about 45 minutes to place and receive my order. The slowest service I've ever received in a sandwich shop. The staff moved with zero sense of urgency even chit-chatting while the store full of customers waited for their food. Several people who ordered after me received their order ahead of me. The 3 associates preparing the food failed to greet customers as we entered and waited to be served. My sandwich was thrown together which is unusual for Firehouse in nearly 20 years of patronage.
I went in in my lunch break and it took 25mins to get my sandwich. Everyone who ordered before me sandwiches were all wrong and had to be remade. My sandwich was incorrect but I didn't have time to wait for them to remake it. I don't know what the issue is but they need better management and employees or no one will return.
Great subs. We ordered through UberEats and it was delivered fast, the subs were made just as we ordered but they forgot our pickles! Travesty! We love our FHSubs pickles and were bummed we got no pickles. But oh well, it's okay. We'll survive.
Ordered Ubereats. One missing item. The other not made correct. I called the store to inform them and they did apologize but had no solution for the problem explaining they have new trainees on the line. I suggest looking elsewhere at least for delivery.
Even when busy I get great service and it's always clean whenever I come in.
The food was hot and delicious! All the staff members were so friendly and professional! The lemonade was perfect!
My first time at Firehouse Subs. I was NOT disappointed. I ordered the engineer and it was AMAZINGLY good. So good I came back 2dys later. And then again today but at the Lantana location. My motto is to stick to what you know and this location is what I KNOW is good. The staff was friendly and the place was very clean.
