I like ice cream a lot, but the place needs more cleaning, hygiene and a bit of remodeling would not be bad

Where are you finding these people you hire??? It’s 230PM and there’s no bananas for a banana split? Employees using one spoon to scoop toppings, my daughters cone was dropped in the chocolate sprinkles scooped out of the sprinkles and put back on the cone. Imagine if someone with an allergy to peanuts comes in and your using the peanut spoon to scoop strawberry’s. Never going back.
I'll he honest and share that I do not recommend this location of carvel. The family and I was in the mood for ice cream and chose this location and we did not have a good experience. We ordered ice cream to go but when we got home I took 1 bite of my ice cream. I get ready to take a second bite and I look down at my spoon and I see hair in the ice cream. I thought back to the guy who was taking our order and fixing the ice cream for us and I realized that the hair belonged to him. None of the workers were wearing hair nets even though they should have been when working with food. Also the place is in desperate need of a deep cleaning and a renovation. The family and threw the ice cream in the trash and decided we wasnt going back. I took pictures that I would like to post with this review but It doesnt give me the option. I'll see if I can post them separately.
Best shakes in my opinion they don't really have a lot of space but the people are respectful and courteous which is really important nowadays
The customer service was incredible! A large group entered a minute before me. So, I assumed it would take a while before I’ll have an opportunity to place my order. One young lady assisted the family, and another young lady, Tamia, swiftly and courteously asked me how she could help me. I mentioned how I dropped by because I was craving Carvel chocolate crunchies, and would like fudge ice cream and a cone to accompany it. I felt seen and heard because she didn’t skimp on the crunchy toppings, which made me exceptionally happy. Thank you very much for making my day sweeter.
Consistently good ice cream. Always a line, which indicates that customers like the product. Certainly not coming for the service or atmosphere.
