We love coal-fired pizza and wings. After a day in the airport, we stopped in for dinner. There was a Wednesday special that included 10 wings and a 1 topping pizza. This was enough for our family of 3. Our server was efficient and friendly. The food came out quickly and was tasty. It wasn’t the best we’ve had (V’s in Jacksonville FL) but it was good and we would get it again.
Food and service are Excellent. I've been in just a few times but each time, I am more and more impressed. Pizza is outstanding.. pasta and sauce dishes are equally as good. The manager has been with the company for quite some time and, while he runs a tight ship, it's apparent that his people are happy to be there, and really love the whole operation. A great experience.
Nice crust, just the way I like it. It’s really thin.Server, Amber, was very attentive and knowledgeable. Good crew. And…THEY'RE OPEN SUNDAY!!! Thank you guys.
I have been going to this restaurant for more than a year now and the only one consistent thing that has never changed and been amazing every time is the waitress Jessica!!! She is the only waitress that has stayed all this time while others come and go. She is the cream of the crop and is definitely management material. She will be a trainer of managers someday. Her smile never fades, her customer service skills surpasses those I’ve seen in finer diner establishments, she’s very friendly and cares about her customers need’s. She’s top notch. The food is good but many times it’s being cooked burnt depending on who’s cooking that day. That’s fine if you like charcoal flavored pizza but not me. Jessica always fixes this problem for me with a smile and never challenging my taste buds. She may be petite but she’s a ball of fire the way she handles everyone in that place when it gets extremely busy without missing a beat. You can find her behind the bar or handling the phones and takeout orders as well as still finding time to converse with her customers that have become her family including me. She doesn’t get paid enough and I’m surprised someone hasn’t “stolen” her to go work for them. Don’t take advantage of her, promote her and allow her to help you improve your restaurant. I’m sure she could also make the food without burning it too. Jessica you rock!!!
Anthony’s lives up to the hype for great coal-fired pizza. There’s a slight tinge of nearly-burnt dust along the crust line, just as it should be.
Amazing experience! Outstanding chicken wings with caramelized onions that are cooked to perfection. Pizza with an absolutely fantastic crust that was also cooked perfectly. Extremely friendly staff. Overall a great time. Highly recommended!
The BEST Food, Staff, and Experience … EVER … Thank you Anthony’s Coal Fire Pizza (ACFP) on PGA Blvd. with a special shout-out to Mike Dansak (manager). I’ve been long time customer (dine-in) of Anthony’s Coal Fire Pizza on PGA Blvd. and the during COVID restrictions, they were open and allowed us to swing by and pick-up their delicious pizzas and salads (and meatballs!) for take-home. Returning to now enjoy the “dine-in” experience, the entire staff at the PGA Blvd. location is friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about the entire menu. When I needed to cater an event, I spoke with Mike Dansak and he suggested the ACFP catering menu for my event. Hosting 20 hungry croquet players at PGA National Croquet Club, we hosted an inter-club tournament and ACFP was able to really deliver (literally and figuratively). ACFP delivered the most delicious food right to the court and all 20 players were thrilled. If you need help to cater your event, or need a break from cooking at home, depend on ACFP to deliver. Yum Yum Level 5!!!!! I suggest getting a family bundle. Why you ask? It’s too hard to decide pizza or wings. So have some of each. The pizza is thinner therefore tasting the ingredients more. Wings are literallllyyyy grilled. Ohhhh SO yummy. My order was delivered and I enjoyed all of it. Look over the photos as those wings though. WOW!!!! Enjoy.
Unfortunately, our experience was pretty bad. It took 15 min before anyone acknowledged us. Then there was a 2in cockroach (palmetto bug) crawling on the silver counter. 2 red flags we chose to ignore because we were starving and the pictures of their food looks great online. We had 2 of the BEST Arnold Palmers I ever had. Finally my pepperoni cardboard, burnt, dried pizza arrived. It had no business being served. My partner’s cheese & basil, dried, burnt, cardboard pizza arrived as well. She was more forgiving even though she burnt the roof of her mouth upon the first bite. They were kind enough to not charge us for both pizzas. I had one full slice and tried eating just the cheese and pepperoni from another 2 slices. But soon just felt unsatisfied with a mouth full of rubbery cheese and greasy pepperoni. I rated this place a 1.5 out of 5. The server was very kind. The pizza was delicious. Requested well done and it came out great. Place is alittle pricey but definitely alot of flavor.
