FANTASTIC SUSHI! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Second time coming here and it did not disappoint. The food was very delicious and flavorful as well as fast. Definitely recommend for anyone in the area to go and visit!
We went to this place because it has 4.5 stars. However, I do not know how. We ordered 2 beef Pad Thai and they were not good to say the least. There was probably 2 pounds of noodles with a few pieces of beef on top (they had the noodles ready and they just put the meat on top). There was barely any meat and nothing was mixed, there was not bean sprouts, no eggs, no peanuts… only noodles with meat on top. The noodles were dry with no flavor. Actually, they tasted like dirt sponge. The worst part, we paid $41 for a take out order. I’m not coming back here.
Having travelled around Japan and Thailand myself, I loved this restaurant! The decor is so culturally authentic. The restaurant has a cute little sushi bar filled with fresh seafood, like you would see in Japan. The menu has a lot of authentic dishes and choices. My husband had the sushi and I had Pad Thai. Both our dishes were very tasty, fresh, and of a good portion size. The staff were really friendly too. We will definitely go back to this restaurant!
Sweet heart roll so good, I got pork katsu, other dish was shrimp pad Thai, so well made dishes, flavours on points, overall amazing first time there, staff was fast, attentive. Most try.
I'm not a sushi fan but I love Thai food. Coming from NY, I wasn't expecting great Thai food in Florida, but I was pleasantly surprised! Their homemade salad dressing is delicious, and I really enjoyed the chicken Pad Thai. I asked for "not spicy" and that's exactly how it was prepared. Others in my party enjoyed the teriyaki chicken and hickory smoked salmon. Everyone liked their food and the service was great! We will definitely go back. Highly recommended!
The food was absolutely amazing! Everything was fresh and delicious.The Junmai Yuzu Sake was great.Topped off with a Green Tea Burlee.Preeya was very hospitable, attentive and helpful.She took personal pride in everything that was ordered and served.Of course the outside dining was great with the current weather too!
Always an awesome experience eating here! I love the atmosphere, the relaxed ambiance, food presentation and quality of taste. I highly recommend Umu as a place to eat with family or as a date night! ❤️
The food is fabulous. High quality and unique menu. Best sake selection in town.
Loved eating here for lunch with a cousin. Very large menu!!!! Difficult decisions on choice. We shared an order of edimami and each had the Umu roll. Later ordered veggie dumplings. I had a Pinot Grigio that was excellent. All food was delicious and beautifully served. Wait staff friendly and professional. Only flaw was it was too dark and that made it difficult to read the menu of fine print. I recommend table lighting or candle.
