I and some family had dinner here for a special occasion. It was my first time eating at Pinchers and I was not disappointed. The food was amazing and our waiter Dominic was polite, kind, and attentive to our needs. I had grilled salmon. It was the best restaurant salmon I have ever tasted! Overall, an excellent experience and can't wait to be back. Thank you Pinchers and Dominic!
The environment is good for a seafood casual dinning. We ate in the outdoor area which was nice given that it was a nice sunny day. I ordered the crab cake burger but did not meet my expectation from a seafood restaurant. It has too much filler non and did not taste too fresh. I would not recommend that. We also ordered the shrimp taco which was better. The manager was friendly.
Very tasty! Crab dip was the best I've ever had! Variety of flavors verses boring crab/cheese dip. Husband got a colossal seafood sampler with stone crab. My crab legs were good, but the drawn butter was extremely salty. Compared to the highly seasoned crab legs at other restaurants, these were pretty boring. Would try any of the amazing shrimp dishes. OMG, the garlic green beans are TO DIE FOR! Anything they make with that garlic butter is divine. So get the crab dip and green beans!
We enjoyed their fish dishes and fresh (not out of a box) fries. While I was excited that they had fresh fried softshell blue crab, the batter was a little too thick. I would have preferred if they had a tempura fried version.

Food was very tasty. Cheesy crab dip was great as an appetizer. My husband had the wings, which we've loved for a long time. I had the bang bang shrimp and crab claws. Both were good but I have to say, there's no better bang bang shrimp than Bonefish grill! Pinchers is spacious, clean ,the food is tasty and the service was good. Our bill was $94.00 which included four bears, 2 appetizers, wings , shrimp and hushpuppies. Half to-go.
Server John Michael was very knowledgeable of the menu and very friendly to talk to. He was very attentive to our dining needs.
We are still staying home most of the time because of Covid even though we are triple vaxxed. Today got cabin fever so we took a drive to go the the Shoppes of Wiregrass with the intention of walking around and finding a place for lunch where we could sit outside with some distance from others. We found Pinchers! We started off by sharing the Mussels Appetizer. There were more than enough for the two of us. I did not count them but guess there were at least 3 dozen maybe 4. We were able to eat all of them as every single mussel was open as they should be. Maybe Pinchers even sorts out the unopened ones as a lot of restaurants serve them anyway. The garlic and wine sauce is absolutely delicious. Be sure to request spoons so you drizzle some on the mussel right before eating. Comes with 2 large hunks of garlic bread, good for dipping into the sauce! We then shared an order of Shrimp Tacos; two to an order but they were huge and overstuffed. They came with a choice of 2 sides. We got a very large pile of Fresh Cut French Fries and Cole Slaw. Everything was very tasty. Unlike some reviewers, we did not find Pinchers to be "pricey". The Mussels and Tacos with sides were $17 each and well worth it. Our server Bri (Brittany) was fantastic: friendly, attentive and is a true "professional" server. We will definitely return!
We will not return. We left there shaking our heads about the cost for the two for one prices for beer and wine (bottom of the line offerings) and an order of mozzarella sticks. The overall price for these low-quality and substandard offerings mirrors those of higher-quality eating establishments. The only positive comment is service was quick, however, we were seated in the bar area. Advertised happy hour prices are deceptive to unknowing individuals and are not up to par with other dining facilities.
While waiting for my hotel check in I ventured over to The Shops at Wire Grass and wanted to take a break from shopping for my new house I ventured into Pinchers and am so happy I did! I believe my server was Kai and he was so helpful with answering menu questions, offering suggestions and just a real sweet young man. I ordered Conch Fritters for an appetizer and DELICIOUS!! Enough to feed many so they went back to the hotel with me. They came with an amazing remoulade-ish sauce that was the perfect companion to the fritters. I wasn't sure which to choose but went with a Mahi Mahi Sandwich that I had blackened and WOW! Fresh, amazing and every other possible adjective you can add onto this. As I'm moving to this area I was so excited to have some fresh fish and this Mahi Mahi did not disappoint Add Pinchers 2 for 1 beers as well as a fun atmosphere with great music, wonderful service and I feel very reasonable pricing and you have an incredible dining experience while in Wesley Chapel, FL. As I'm in a hotel while awaiting my house settlement I plan on going back to Pinchers....A LOT!
