Reviews never lie! I was skeptical about this Chinese food spot because of the bad reviews, but my husband wanted Chinese food, so we ordered here, and the food was nasty and very oily. The fried rice was mushy, and the French fries were brown complete with oil. You have to wait 45 mins for your order, and by the time you get home, the food is cold. And they have the nerve to put New York Style more like New York Trash!!!!!
Ever since Ho Wok is under new management and no longer authentic, decided to give Gonna China a try for it's awesome reviews over NYC style Chinese food. We ordered house fried rice, bone in ribs, and shrimp low mein to give it a try. To my dismay, the fried rice was very yellow, not acustom to tumeric in my fried rice. The portions are very good, but the flavor lacked the hot wok and spices experiences were used to. The food is really good compared to other restaurants in the area but not for me. Will keep looking.
Very impressed with the tasty, fast take out. I have tried every Chinese Food restaurant in the old Wesley Chapel area and Gonna China is by far tops for me. The rice is always fresh and my main course isn't swimming in oil. The Crab Rangoons are ok, not the absolutely best but worth it for sure. The best bang for my buck...lunch special comes with plenty of food and a soda.
The food is GREAT but the customer service sucks! I just had a bad experience today, that I really didn’t appreciate. I was in line like everyone else and the lady wanted to take the person behind me… telling me one minute…. Not realizing my food was in the same spot as the lady behind me! You take whose next…. And that’s how that goes! I feel like she and the lady behind me had an attitude, but I was next….so you take me NEXT! It just really rubbed me the wrong way, when I was waiting my turn like the 3 orders before me! This is my second bad customer service experience!

The food is not good, service is terrible. You can call ahead and still wait 30 to 45 minutes for food. Its not worth the cost.
Dissent food but always screwing up the order when taken over the phone. Plus, usually later then what they tell you over the phone.
This place is rockin, the rice, noodles, chicken & ribs slap so hard especially if ur smacked
