Fantastic Mexican restaurant. I had the pollo chipotle lunch special. The chicken breast was very tender and the chipotle sauce was great. The grilled corn was awesome. Raymond our server was fantastic. Very friendly and service was fast. He fixed my wife's margarita. Made sure we had everything we needed. Nice atmosphere. We will return. Ask for Raymond.
Met friends last night and when we got there at the hostess station two girls pointed out where our friends were but didn’t walk us over. Our server was maybe one of two in the whole restaurant which made his job even harder. There were plenty of “training staff” hanging out but not quite sure what they were supposed to be doing. We called one over to start clearing our table and he picked up two plates and never came back. Our dinners were good but one of our friends didn’t get what he ordered but took it anyway. If there was a manager there we never saw one. Hopefully things will get better in the future with training etc.
Came here for the first time Last night and it was AMAZING! I first must give credit to Ray as he provided Wonderful service throughout the entirety of our dinner! Ray recommended the nachos and they were so good!! Margaritas were very well made and flavorful. We even had dessert that topped it off. The place was clean and staffed Food came quick. Good vibes. Thanks Ray !!
We had Pleasant dining experience. The wait wasn't long before we were seated. The service was impressive. Our server was courteous and polite, she wasted no time bringing our drinks to and our meals arrived at our table piping hot. I had a hankering for Mexican Food with a vegan twist. My taste buds were satisfied -job well done
I went here last week with my parents and the food was remarkably bland and poor quality for the prices and not genuine Mexican food at all. The chicken looks like it came straight from a Perdue bag and was cold. Not a great sign for Fajitas. ?This is like if they took a Mexican restaurant and gentrified it. I would rather be hate-crimed than eat the food here.I asked the waitress what kind of beans they had, if they had black or refried beans, and she literally did not know. I get being understaffed, but I don’t think the majority of the people who work here actually know anything about Mexican food or Latinx cuisine?Which is kind of a bad thing if you’re running a restaurant that’s meant to serve ethnic food.Of course, we still tipped her, it’s not her fault, but I sincerely hope the management here actually hires people who are diverse or maybe even bilingual instead of hiring whoever. It’s not a Mexican restaurant if it’s ran by white millennials who probably don’t know what arroz con pollo is.Unless a Mexican restaurant is ran by your local Abuelita and her family, you’re not gonna get good food. Period.Everything here is about as bad as the wonton tacos they serve at Applebee’s.
It is always easy to get seated here and the food is always consistent and good. Not sure why this restaurant is not busier, my husband I love it!
This was my first time in a few years going back to this restaurant. Right off the bat the menu is super small and nothing good is on it in my opinion. The waitress was slow and dropped the ball too many times. When we told her we were ready to order she just walked away. We waited forever to have our drinks refilled. The guac was absolutely bland. No flavor other than the avocado. The chips they give you were the ONLY good thing about this restaurant. My meal came to the table.... The fish tacos with rice and beans. I asked for limes and she said ok. She went back then while carrying my plate of limes went to another table to take their orders... She could have swung by and dropped my plate off but instead left me waiting for over 5min. Now when I picked up the second taco... Which happened to be the taco right next to the rice and beans, I saw something black. I looked very closely and there was a string of hair from the taco into the rice and then in the beans. It was actually disgusting. It was not mine let's make that absolutely clear as it was literally inside/under the beans and half under/on top of the rice. As I was pulling it out I called over a waiter and showed him. He went to take the hair but I dropped it on the floor and gave him my plate. I didn't/couldn't eat anymore because I was totally grossed out. I asked another waiter to please tell them not to make another plate as I was no longer able to eat anything from there. My family all had complaints about their meals. The steak tacos were so tough my 9yr old said it wasn't breaking down with all his chewing. My husband said the chicken tacos were dry and bland. The rice and beans were just not good. Sadly the waitress didn't care that I had hair in my food or that I was sitting there with no food. Moral of all this, for anyone even considering going to this place to eat... Do yourself a favor and don't go. It's just gonna be a big disappointment and your going to leave sick or hungry.
This is gem of a place. Didn’t expect to be so nice. Everything was great including service, ambience, food and the wait time. They accommodated my baby really well and seated us in a nice area. The menu has lot of interesting and healthy options. Good sized portions and lovely food. Would love to go back and eat whenever I visit Wiregrass mall. Do try this restaurant if you are looking somewhere to eat near the mall.
We were here for lunch with friends. This has got to be one of my all time favorite restaurants. Server was friendly, efficient and helpful. Food and drinks were excellent.
Awesome and of course$$Pricey $29 for two margaritas WOWRule of thumb though..IF YOU have to ask HOW MUCH $$ you shouldn't be in there anyway ?# MALL (Strip not Plaza)# HAPPY HOUR (YES..we were to early)Suggestion: Sit back Relax and Enjoy& FYI salsa and chips COULD HAVE been on check didn't look ?
