The over all feel of this new restaurant gives you everything you would expect of a hip and trendy Mexican restaurant. The issue you will have is that every thing was just ok. Service good, but not memorable. Drinks look great, but don't have that edge that makes a drink absolutely fabulous. The food was fresh, but for the most part lacked salt and the umph that is needed for good Mexican food. The location is great and it is nice to a have another choice of cuisine. Hopefully, being a newer place they will find their footing. I'm willing to give them another chance.
Our server Angie was over the top amazing. I asked about some of the signature cocktails and she was so eager to tell me about them! I felt so welcomed the entire time I was there. The food is AMAZING. Great proportions, great prices. The drinks are SUPERB . Definitely recommend this place 10/10. And don’t forget to ask for ANGIE
Second time we’ve been here in 7 days - just couldn’t wait to come back and try new dishes! These chicken taquitos are WILD! Can’t believe the portion size (although not complaining) - they are packed with flavor too just like everything else here! Love the vibe of the restaurant.
First time in this restaurant, we like the environment as well the way staff treats you.When we received the Margaritas we noticed something curious... they put too much ice on it, so I recommend not ordering them because you will be disappointed.Chips and sauce is a good offering from the restaurant, but our salsa was frozen. In my order the guacamole did not look fresh.
Some Mexican restaurants are so similar to one another that one would think they are part of a nationwide chain. Tulum is nothing like one of those. The owners put some effort into the design of the restaurant and it shows. The quality of the food was exceptional as well. It was fresh and unique. The traditional favorites are available, but I would encourage everyone to try something new. I did and really enjoyed my meal.
My girlfriend invited me and I was sooo Delicious... My favorite food ....Excellent food, excellent service. Such a great location. Highly recommend I wanna come back soon.
I’ve gone back to my favorite Mexican restaurant in Wellington due to Tulum’s misleading hours of operation and service. I’ve been to Tulum once and thought it was good, but there’s no consistency with their hours and service. Joyce was an excellent server! They technically close 30 mins before their hours of operation, because I wasn’t able to get food (to go) at 9:30 when they closed at 10. Tried a second time to eat there at 5pm today when Tulum had a sign that said closed
Thank you Tulum for making my mom’s night special. We have dined here several times now and have tried several of their dishes. Have yet to be disappointed. Flavor is great with everything I’ve had. I’m slowly working my way around their drink menu as well
Fabulous family owned restaurant. We started with the stuffed plantains and they were perfect. Their red sangria is some of the best we’ve had! For dinner we had steak ranchero and pina maya. We saw someone getting the pina maya when we walked in and had to try it, they didn’t disappoint. For dessert Regina (owner) recommended the chimichanga cheese cake, it was the perfect way to end a fabulous meal. Be sure to thank Monique for her wonderful sangria. Can’t wait to come back, thanks guys! It can get busy so be sure to have a reservation.
Went to Tulum for the first time didn't even know about it until my husband's friend recommended the place to us. So we decided to try it for lunch. How did we miss this place? Excellent Mexican Food. Everything is Fresh and food presentation very nice! Also, place is clean and has a nice ambiance. Monique the owner is so friendly and our server Mia was fabulous. Their Margaritas ROCK! They are going to start having entertainment on Friday nights. Can't wait to go again next time for the entertainment and looking forward to trying more dishes on the menu. I had the Chimichanga and my hubby got he Burrito. Excellent & FRESH! Yum!
