It was the first time we were trying this restaurant. We were very pleased with the appetizer list. They pour a good glass of wine and entrées were exceptional. We had short ribs, our friends have the large pork chops and the mahi with risotto. No room for dessert.

Portions very small for the price. Service was slow. Also, the upcharge you on any substitutions even though they were the same price on the sides menu. I aske to sub carrotts instead of potatoe and said $3 upcharge although they were both $10 on the menu. Doesnt make sense.
Overall I had a great experience Ash and Mina were fantastic and I had a wild mushroom pasta which was absolutely delicious

Maxwellâs Plum exceeded my expectations. Beautiful atmosphere. Every single item was a perfect 10. Perhaps the finest of shrimp cocktail I have ever eaten yet. The wedge salad was extraordinary. Short ribs cooked to perfection. All sauces were prepared to perfection. We cannot wait to return.
Had a great experience at Maxwells Plum. Knowing the name and having gone in NYC, we decided to give this one a try. It is nothing like the one from NY, but a great experience none the less. Every entree was delicious. We had steak, salmon, pasta, chicken, had appetizers, had cocktails. All were great. Our server was excellent and attentive. The atmosphere was plush, with all the velvet seating and crisp decor. Very pricey but the food and service proved the worth.
I went there last night. It was amazing. Food is good and service was even better. Our server was such a people person. He made our night.
