Our experience here is similar to what we have experienced in most of South Florida - decent food, with a culture of struggling customer service. Our order was placed online with a Curbside pickup option (it was raining) for 6pm. We arrived about 6pm with instruction to call the restaurant when we arrived. We called and got forwarded directly to voicemail, with a message that states the mailbox is full. Not to worry - I walked inside to pick it up, bypassed the “Order Here” line of 10 people and walked up to the “Pickup” line. I was told by a girl “pickup is over here,” pointing to the “order” line. Slightly annoying but still not a big deal.I waited in line, gave my name for the pickup order and was told it wasn’t ready. No approximate wait time, no “I’ll let you know,” just a “not ready.” I sat for about 20 minutes, and didn’t hear from anyone so I decided to ask them again. A different girl walked over to a guy who talked to another guy, and the two pizzas we ordered, ready this whole time, were sitting on the oven. Without apology or acknowledgment, they were handed to me. We were pretty hungry at this point and didn’t check the pizzas while we were at the restaurant, which probably gives you a pretty good indication of how this ended up: they gave us the wrong pizzas. To be fair to JB’s, this is the common experience we have with anything related to South Florida. They aren’t an anomaly. We have had their pizza before and it’s the best around, so we keep going back rolling the dice on service. Best rule of thumb if you’re moving here however: make dinner at home, you’re not in New England anymore!
I gotta say, not so bad for Florida, edible. But definitely not New York. You cant order it delivery, you have to have a slice or a pie in the restaurant fresh because when it gets delivered, its just not the same. And please slow down on the sugar in the sauce! way way too much sugar in the sauce. Its not dessert! Ordered a Pie made with the fresh tomato sauce, Way too sweet! Jesu Cristo! whoever made that sauce should be fired! Get rid of the sugar. Thats all. That pie would be a home run without the sugar in the sauce. All in all, the regular pie is not so bad but 20 dollars for a regular pie that cost less than 2 dollars to make is a little pricey. Also charging 6 dollars more for the fresh tomato sauce pie that cost less to make because there's no mozzerella is ridiculous! Come on, people are not stupid. Everyone knows the biggest cost in a pizza is the mozzerella and making your own sauce is cheaper than buying the pizza sauce, So. Gotcha! Seriously, slow up on the sugar.
I treated myself to 2 slices and an antipasto for lunch. Yum!
The Jimmy Brooklyn Pizza with the fresh tomato sauce is legitimately one of the best pizzas I have ever eaten. It is worth the extra charge. Thin, crispy, with a tangy sauce. Highly recommended.
Cheesesteak is an absolute joke where’s the meat? And what’s worse is they charge $10.95 it’s mostly bread. The pizza was ok, very very greasy and floppy. Atmosphere is ok some TVs, tables, chairs and booths not very big. Most likely will not return again. Our last visit was April 2018 and we wanted to give them another shot but they underperformed once again.
I recently ordered 4 slices of pizza, when i arrived to the location there was only 3 slices inside. No one informed me about the missing slice when i arrived or when i was on my way out. When i asked about the missing slice the broad at the counter who also looked high on some sort of substance carelessly assisted me nor helped me at all. I do not recommend anyone to spend money here. This is not a professional staff. No one helped. No one offered me anything to compensate the missing slice. This place sucks and i will not be retuning. This is not a real new york pizza spot. This place is trash!
This place is absolutely awesome. As a fellow New Yorker it’s really hard to find good Italian food especially pizza. We had the muscles the calzone and pizza and I highly recommend. You will not be disappointed!!
Terrible customer service. It’s a shame because the pizza is good. Be aware that if you order online, the price is much higher than if you call it in. I asked them about it because I was curious and they tried to feed me BS about prices being subject to change even though I was showing them in person the price differences.
It was good. I liked the decor there
The pizza was good. But...... I ordered a small ice for $3.50 plus tax and it was so tiny that the girl didn’t even give me a full scoop of ice. It was really good but damn..... at least do the whole scoop the scoop she gave me wasn’t even worth $1.50 I told her and she just said I know ?
