I had a job in vero and was looking for an independent business to eat for a quick lunch , and i found the wood n spoon. Great service and fantastic food. I had the French dip and it was amazing. Definitely going back for more.
Our food was fine and the service was good. Our wait staff was very pleasant. No real complaints about the food other than the bacon wasn't cooked enough. I don't care for eating on paper plates so we probably won't go back. A customer went unmasked into the food prep area while they were preparing our food which I was not thrilled with.
The website said they opened at 8 but the lettering on the door said 9. It was 9. Paper plates are not especially good for breakfast. Only one slice of toast. I am still looking for a breakfast place in Vero.
Very disappointing the cook made me feel like very unwelcome. She was bothered by the fact that I was placing an order for 10. She hung up on me when I asked her if she would put the names on each meal. I feel sorry for the cashier/manager is very sweet.
Just had the 15 Bean Soup at the Royal Palm location. It was delicious and filling. Will definitely be back to try their other soups that change on a regular basis.
