Had out-of-state family in town and booked a 3pm reservation at Wave through Open Table. Our Party arrived at Wave only to be told that there was no table service at our confirmed reservation time and Wave only had some bar snacks if we desired. I showed the maitre'd our Open Table dinner reservation and he had never heard of the app. Although I was very polite, he also couldn't have also showed any less concern for our dilemma. In fact, we walked away promptly at 3pm. Same for the front desk staff. The lack of service or helpfulness was startling....

Very good food. I would definitely order Cuban specials. Dave our waiter is excellent. Ask for him. The noise level was high. Might not be good for a quiet night out.
Celebrating a friendâs birthday
Tartare and ceviche were very good! Paella was very salty!!! No aromatic flavor, just saltyâ¦..Decent wine list priced well. Dave our server was engaging and prompt. Will go back tonight since we are staying at the resort and try the chicken. Did go back and had the Pollo Asado which was so good!!! Tender fall off the bone chicken in a tasty creole type sauce. My husband had the filet served on a hot rock which was cooked to perfection! And highly recommend the churros for dessert accompanied by 2 dipping sauces and a shot of rum. Would def recommend this restaurant, my only real complaint would be that is very noisy! They need to for sure work on the acousticsâ¦.
