We had a gift card for this restaurant, we normally do not eat in an establishment that is as expensive as this one is....the food was absolutely outstanding as was the service. I highly recommend The Tides for those special occasions or any time if your budget allows!
The atmosphere is beautiful. The food is beyond amazing. I couldn't be more thankful. Five stars across the board.
Possibly the best quality dinner and service in Vero Beach.
We've been patrons of this restaurant on quite a few occasions. In the past it has ranged from excellent to somewhat less than excellent. Our latest visit here was a little disappointing while the food was very good it wasn't up to the excellent status of the past. What was quite disappointing was the bar service. I asked for a specific drink, one that would have been easy to Google, the server came back and asked me what was in it. I educated the server (IMO not their job to ask a patron how to make a drink) but I was served with a drink that was watered down at best. It was returned and replaced with another drink only marginally better. As was alluded to previously. a quick Google search would would have shown how to make this simple drink.The server, while pleasant was a little overly familiar. All in all I've given Tides 4 and 5 stars in the past, I'm very sad to only give them three stars this time. Additionally the place is looking a little bit worn. The men's room absolutely cheap looking with plastic everything. If one looks at all at the furniture there are chips out of the chairs. The carpet a bit frayed, While the food was still very good, (I had asked for a medium and received medium rare.) I did not send it back as I didn't want to wait for a re-do. This is not an inexpensive restaurant. For the cost a meal here, the decor, the service and the food should be and has been much better. In essence both my wife and myself believe The Tides has lost some luster.

Tides is a fine dining experience near the beach in Vero Beach. The atmosphere is calm and peaceful for a relaxing experience. The staff is eager to serve and take care of your every need. David was very thorough with menu choices and offered suggestions. The food is outstanding with a variety of menu options.
Certainly a top restaurant in Vero Beach. Good menu selection and usually many specials. We have had many meals at The Tide along with many friends, seldom is there any issue. If you are fortunate to get Kenny as your waiter, you will also enjoy some entertainment.
WE were celebrating a friend's birthday. We started with champagne and moved on to a nice pinot noir. I had Macadamia Nut Crusted Snapper with roasted house potatoes / bIuttered seasonal vegetables / glazed carrots / lemon chardonnay butter. It was excellent and I highly recommend it. It was cooked perfectly. We shared desserts and they were all first class. Our waitress was terrific, lots of fun, great suggestions, a real pro.
My first fine dining experience did not disappoint!! We were in town for a short while and The Tides had no availability until after we left. We figured we’d show up early to get a seat at the bar but little did we know that people arrive at the bar by 4 pm WHICH IS AN HOUR BEFORE OPENING! That’s a little… rude in my opinion but whatever. The hostess was still able to get us a table; I was so happy ? I can say with confidence there is NOTHING that you could order that wouldn’t be amazing. Our waiter was so young but so polite and friendly and knowledgeable! The location was very quaint and had a relaxed atmosphere. They even have an option to make a future reservation and have a multiple course meal tailored to your likes with wine paired specifically to your food ? this place is a foodie’s dream ❤️
This is one of the best, if not the best restaurant in Vero Beach. We have been to this restaurant many times, and never had a bad meal.The service is second to none.From the fresh fish to the steaks, always the best ingredients and spices.That also accommodate Gluten free with issues!I highly recommend this restaurant.
