General Manager helped us with the Kiosk - I was not happy with no longer having servers, or menus - I was ready to leave and take the girls elsewhere. When the general Manager lady came over to assists us. Food was good, General Manager is impeccable, restaurant was pristine clean, restrooms were clean, the parking lot was clean. All the employees were smiling.
I used to love going for a cheap burger and milk shake… since Covid this place has gone downhill quickly. First I don’t like they took away the wait staff. Second I used to love the real banana milkshakes, they no longer have them and whatever artificial banana they are using is terrible, it was icy not even milkshake consistency. Our food came out ice cold after waiting 45 minutes for it. I got the western burger, it was inedible. My bun was rock hard I couldn’t even bite into it. The fries were over salty. My son did not like his Oreo milkshake due to the consistency. This was the biggest disappointment in a long time! Such a shame.
One of my favorite fast food franchises. Order time seemed to be long for only a few customers. Two couples inside, 3-4 in line waiting to order or recieve food. Food was not heated to temperature, burger was dry, fries were cold. I've eaten here before and it was great. Realize everything in life isn't perfect, but definitely have to do better.
Food was good, milkshake was AWESOME and the service wasn't bad. However they only have touch screen self serve ordering options which with covid, other germs etc as well as I watched several elderly people and 1 lady that appeared to not be able to read leave because there was no one to help them. I being a cancer patient was uneasy using the touch screen that was not clean whatsoever and I'm sure filled with bacteria and germs. In fact I got very sick since the day after that and am still fighting off a terrible cold. People should have the option to choose if they want someone to take their order or do it themselves. Part of the restaurant experience is having someone wait on you as it is apart of what you pay for. I was displeased also because I ordered a large onion ring which I was upcharged for and didn't get an onion ring I got a fry because apparently they were out. Had there been a person behind the counter to take our order I would have been told this or atleast given a refund which I was not offered at all. The machine was also out of paper so I was not able to get a receipt for my order and when I told them it was out they did not refill it with paper so the next person got theirs. The whole dynamic behind the counter seemed rather chaotic to say the least. The food was good however just the experience was not up to par (even for fast food)
Well at first it was a little weird because I was dining in but still had to put my order through a kiosk. Food was great portion was a bit smaller than I remember my Granddaughter loved it. We cleaned off the table we were at ourselves but there were other tables around my stars were based on Food Cleanliness Service
This place is awful. We have been there at least 3 times since March. We have gone thur the drive up window. We have had different people take our order every time it’s wrong. I ask for no pickles get extra pickles and nothing else on it. Ask for ketchup today get maybe a teaspoon in a little cup if that. Fries so salty can’t eat them so today I didn’t ask for fries because of this so what do I get fries salty again so Today was the last straw. I highly advise everyone to not waste there money on this place it horrible. Shame on me for going back but we do like Steak and Shake we just moved here so we kept thinking they were having a bad day. But 3 times less than a month. I promise you I won’t be back. If I could give this place a zero stars I would.
Removed the registers, so card pay only. No cash option. No greeting, and scarce interaction from the staff except to call out a number and place your stuff on the counter. No ketchup available for overcooked fries. Burgers are different than they used to be. Not as hearty of a taste, like they are using cheaper meat. Shakes were runny, so couldn't even dip fries in the shakes. Just not the same experience as it used to be. Not terrible but not great. Would have been 3 stars but the interaction and connection just fell flat.
It was my first time in a steak and shake and the experience was pretty much how I expected. The burgers were and interesting texture and flavor because of the meat they use but the patties are super thin. I really liked the butter on the bun I got and the super thin fries!
No waitress service. You order at a computer and then pick up at the counter. My friend ordered a Snickers shake. No receipt came out so she notified the counter server wo gladly printed one out. M food came out pretty quickly. She waited ...and waited..to finally walk up and be told they had no Snickers. Would have thought the girl at the counter would have told her that in the first place. My burger and fries were as expected. Just not a fan of the new system.
This place used to be great. Good food and great shakes. Now have to use kiosk to order. No shakes available. Ice tea machines don’t have lids on them. Place smells stale. Burger was dry. Was told used to be corporate owned. Personal owned now. Will never come back.
