Came here for dinner on the 4th of July. Hostess was very nice and accommodating. They were out of the chicken wings. Being from Buffalo I was really looking forward to the wings. I ordered the full rack of baby back ribs which were very good! Draft beers were 2 for 1. They were out of beer mugs as well. We will return when we are back in town and give this restaurant another try.
I ordered two of my favorites, brisket and Well Done french fries and they were cooked perfectly!! My mother had the lunch half rack of ribs and she raved, wonderful meal wonderful service!
First time at a Sonny’s, so I was nervous not knowing what to expect. The menu was a bit limited in my opinion, I feel there could be more appetizers and also a drink menu (which the menu says “see our drink menu” but when we asked they said they did not have one). We did have good service, the tea tasted fresh and the beer was cold. I got the Sonny’s Sampler and subbed out brisket for pulled chicken. I wish I hadn’t done that or instead got double pulled pork because the pulled chicken was VERY dry. Some pieces were so dry they were hard. The pulled pork though was great and delicious. The smoked chicken quarter was good also. The cornbread was very dry and lacked flavor in my opinion. The Mac and cheese was good and the broccoli was cooked perfectly.All in all, I would recommend.
Laura was a great server! Our drinks were kept full, and our food came out with perfect timing. She made sure we had everything we needed, and was super friendly and knowledgeable about everything on the menu. Literally the best Sonny's salad I've ever had. Thanks!
The food is great but kind of disappointed no more salad bar, even with things opening up with Covid 19 slowing down dramatically.
Went for the birthday big deal combo offer. Got it to go. Fast and friendly service and was consistent with Sonny's norm. We go frequently to various Sonny's. Oh, did get sweet tea instead of unsweetened as asked. Understandable.
We enjoyed the smoked turkey entree with the BBQ beans, homemade cole slaw and toasted garlic bread and the beef brisket sandwich. The available original sauce was excellent. Service (Betza) was attentive.
The staff and service was great but the BBQ pork I had was very fatty and tough that I had to spit out. Could be just a bad batch but I was not happy. Plus they had a new cook and he had messed up the order but they made good on it. Still leave a bad experience. They use to have a nice salad bar but it has been removed which is another negative.
