I was really hoping to like this place since I love Mediterranean food, but sadly this didn't hit the mark. I ordered the carmelized cauliflower which turned out to be just fried and super greasy. I also ordered a fatoush salad which I couldn't eat because the taste was so over powered by pomegranite syrup. On top of it, we waited over 30 minutes for our food while other tables came in after us and had their meals well before us. When I asked about our order I was told that they had a big take out order to fill first. Come on! I ordered a freaking salad. I'll not be returning.

Really a great find. Fantastic hummus and great gyros. Nice people. Very good experience. Wife had a Mediterranean rice bowl and loved it. Got hummus to go for later. Fantastic!

I'd offer zero, but that functionality wasn't available for this review.A few weeks ago, I stopped in to this establishment for the first time, excited about the prospect of having some decent Mediterranean faire in Vero Beach. The young lady at the counter was pleasant and I placed my order. I ordered the chicken gyro, side salad and a fountain drink, which totaled over $15+. Additionally, I left a $2.00 tip since it was mostly self service. The gyro arrived and it lacked enough tzatziki for my liking. I returned to the counter and encountered a gentleman this time and I informed him that the gyro was dry and needed additional sauce. This "person" proceeded to inform me that "they always put lots of tzatziki sauce on their gyros" Well, clearly not enough for me and proceeded to try and charge me $1.00 for additional sauce (lucky if measured 1/2 a teaspoon) not to mention wanting to argue the point .Keep in mind, I'm the customer, you need to be kissing my a$$, not the other way around. You lost a first and last time customer and degraded my customer service experience.

I've eaten eastern Mediterranean food all over the US and in London, and Sammy's is one of the best of the bunch. Delicious, authentic flavors, everything house made (I believe). Friendly service. Wish they served dinner.

This is 5 out of 5 stars. Fresh, delicious, unbelievably good. Open only for lunch BUT you could order dishes for dinner and take away. We had a scrumptious lentil soup, two Kibeh, za’atar and babah ganoush with a salad. They serve beer and wine. We loved it

Excellent gluten free meal with a rich, delicious slice of vegan/GF spiced carrot cake for dessert. The atmosphere is fresh and clean, the wait staff, even in the middle of the rush, were very attentive, and had a pleasant attitude. Good food, good service. can't wait to go back!

Great service, unique menu, lovely outside seating (but not pet-friendly). A hidden gem, as I've driven by this place hundreds of times & had NO IDEA what I was missing. Go here. GO HERE NOW! Fabulous!

The food there is amazing and so is the desserts. The staff are also very nice as well.

Fantastic vegan food and service! John was great, and explained several vegan choices on the menu. Such a cool establishment, and one I'll be coming back to again!

Amazing mediterranean food. Had the baba ghanoush on their homemade flatbread. The desserts are vegan friendly and many are also gluten free. The staff was exceptional even though they were busy. Definitely will be back when in Vero Beach again.
