Such a great little restaurant! I went there the other night with a friend. The waitress got my order wrong- but it turned out ok! I kept it and was happy with it! I got the shrimp appetizer with chorizo (pictured) and a flatbread (veggie) I ended up taking the flatbread home it was so much food! The menu is creative and different, but a little limited. All in all - I will return!

Amazing food. Both the taste and appearance of the food was fabulous. We rerouted to this restaurant and were happy to have discovered a hidden treasure.

Lorraine took my call at 2:30pm on a Friday that had all of Vero booked and looking for a restaurant. She was so sweet and worked 4 of us us in. It was a last minute thing as we had two more people joining us and the place we had already booked wouldn’t accommodate us. I found out after dinner that she and her husband (the chef) owned the restaurant. The food was outstanding, the service unmatched and our first visit to Vero has beckoned us back. River Twist was a primary reason.

Lorraine accommodated us at the last minute for a table since we were meeting friends and needed a table for 4. The staff loves her and the Chef (her husband). Highly recommended. Brandy was the best server!

The food and service were both good. The menu felt a bit limited but the food was fresh and well prepared. The atmosphere is stylish and there was sufficient space to almost ignore the very inconsiderate pair of women blabbing much too loudly across the way. I would go back.

What a great restaurant, the food is amazing! We had the filet, rainbow trout special and the chicken dish. The wine list is perfect and the bread pudding was the best ever!!!

Excellent food, great atmosphere, perfect service. This is a small restaurant that you wouldn't notice if you were driving by. I barely found the place after a frequent customer gave me directions in the passenger seat. I had never even heard of River Twist in my 10 years in Vero.We will be going back! The aura was perfect for a first date or 10 year anniversary. The menu options covered a wide range of tastes and left little to be desired. I was quite impressed with everything we had and half the group shared bites of their meals. Each item, the salmon, steak, and chicken were seasoned and cooked to perfection.I am told the owner is also the cook, thats how you know he takes pride in what he serves. The guava cheesecake was quite a treat, the wife loved it!10/10, would recommend!

Different feel, not exactly cozy but interesting and comfortable booth seating. Appetiser SalmonTower was very good. Came with cold smoked salmon, goat cheese, very small amount of capers (should have been more to balance off the other smooth foods), pickled onion and smashed egg salad all to spread on buttered toast. Please leave off the butter next time, so many flavours we don’t need those extra calories. If they gave more capers, no butter I’d give it A+ but as it was I’d give a B+.We had the lollipop lamb chops, nice amount of four.Too much sweet bbq sauce. Leave off the sauce or cut it way back. Why add calories to beautiful lamb? Give mint sauce on the side and serve them plain. We skipped dessert. The wines were good with several very good ones In the forty to fifty range. Will definitely go again but ask for no sauce on the lamb.

12 of us showed up unannounced for lunch, but they were very accommodating. The food was delicious and the service was great.

Great Atmosphere, inventive and delicious food, impressive wine list, wonderful service, genuinely kind, and exceedingly bright owners, and I heard there youngest son is pretty cute too?
