Excellent food, prepared exactly how we requested. Very friendly and professional staff. Starting with the salad, then the main meal, our sides and dessert all were excellent. No complaints. We will be back
Dined at the Polo Grill for the first time last night with my husband and daughter. My daughter and I loved the Roasted Faroe Island Salmon. My husband thought the Veal Gorgonzola was good but not great. We sat in a booth indoors and appreciated the cozy, yet elegant decor. High complements to our attentive and sweet waiter, Stephen. I look forward to enjoying the outdoor courtyard when the weather gets cooler.
Excellent service. People were friendly and very accommodating. Food was excellent. There was a private party inside so a little noisier than usual but not bad.

I was alone on my birthday, so I decided to take myself to one of my favorites. When I saw the Ipswich clam bellies on the menu, I was ecstatic. What arrived was another matter altogether. Way over cooked combination of what looked like frozen clam strips and a few broken clam bellies. A dish that the server was embarrassed to serve (I later learned). Having lived in Ipswich and having great familiarity with the product I was amazed that the Polo Grill would serve such an inferior product. Something more appropriate at a country fair than a fine restaurant. I hope they take the dish off the menu rather than continue to serve poor representative of one of New England's great dishes. By the way, the promised visit from the owner never happened. Thus this review.
Nice outside patio dinner. Took a while to initially get water. My wife had scallops that were very good. I had filet that was good but more medium than medium rare that I ordered. Nice sitting outside.
Kennedy is an excellent waiter. Love the steak on the salt block. The sea bass is delicious too!
Food was excellent from start to finish. Service was very good but seemed slow at times considering the few customers inside.
Great experience, great food and great service.
