Absolutely do not get cuaght in this sand trap!! Wait in one hour to be sit down in a corner to wait another half hour with a four-year-old. The handcrafted margaritas $30 for two indigestion and heartburn premix that we had at 86. Wait staff seems to only cater to whom they know,,Never again Ever!!!This place is a Dive that you don’t want to dive into!!Trust me!!!The waitress brought us xtra plates Ask if we use them we said no she was like well go put them back up to take some pressure off of dishwashers. You see that draft beer picture glasses are not beer clean.Evidently We know why,,Trust me or you will find out.
We stopped here for a birthday lunch for my husband. Sitting outside was great, the view is amazing, and adds to the overall ambiance. My daughter loved her BLT, and my husband liked his breakfast sandwich. The onion rings are only ok. My jumbo shrimp with the jumbo shrimp cocktail were large, fresh, and yummy. Our drinks were ok, pricey considering you can’t really taste any alcohol. My husbands Bloody Mary looked great but just tasted like tomato juice. After we ate we sat for a few minutes in the beach lounge chairs in the outside area, and it was great! Sunny and relaxing, and a nice place to let your meal settle. Overall happy with our experience.
Enjoyed our entire evening, from sitting in the sand and sipping Margarita’s, listening to live music, and finally eating a tasty meal. Excellent and attentive waitstaff.
Visited Vero Beach Mulligans for the first time today (have been to Jensen location before) Avery was our waitress and she was awesome! Very friendly, smiled and checked on us periodically without being a nag. Ordered calamari, chicken sandwich and Texas burger. All of the food was great. The view is mesmerizing. You’re right on the water If you sit outside. They open 630am daily for breakfast. Plenty of parking around the restaurant.
Best day eating at Mulligans, right by the beach! The food was great and sitting out by the ocean was amazing!! Favorite was the humongous lightly crispy, super tender calamari. That was a meal itself! Firecracker shrimp on the salad was so delish! And the oysters were huge and super fresh! Lobster roll was good. They were out of the buttery lobster roll but the beach house one was great - served cold instead of hot like the buttery one. Server was the best too! Can't wait to go back! The wait at 2pm on Monday was about half an hour but it was worth the wait. The beach is so nice to walk along and the restaurant will text when your table is ready.
They were very busy, however the drink was very tasty and the music was great! If you get the chance to sit outside and look at the ocean it is wonderful
My initial plan was to go to the #1 rated place — Ocean Grill. We walked in and it felt like a cross between Pirates of the Caribbean ride and a average haunted house. Walked in and walked out. Saw Mulligans across the walkway. Wasn’t busy at 5 but that changed by 6. We were sat quickly outside on a Tuesday- good live music (Jimmy Buffet vibes). Happy hour was great. We ordered Mahi Mahi, Lobster Roll w/mac&chz, and Asian Tuna Bowl. Spin dip for app was good, daughter demolished it. The fish was ok but pineapple salsa was super, outstanding green beans, good rice. Lobster roll was pretty good, wife just wanted to try it, lobster seemed fresh. The 17 yr old had the bowl and loved it! Overall, Mulligan’s was a great vibe, overlooking the ocean. Would recommend for travelers and locals
We were quickly seated at a window table overlooking beach and ocean. Large menus took a while to navigate. Brunch or lunch? Fish, beef, vegan? It is all there. Our two choices took a minute or two longer than expected but were hot and delicious on arrival. The digs is festooned with touristy signs, part of the charm. Finding a parking space in the lot seems to be the only challenge here. Highly recommended eatery!
We had a nice dinner with friends. We sat on the beach, well, almost. The ocean was great, and the view was great. They have a good menu. The service was great; it was busy, and the servers were hustling. The food came out quicker than we thought it would. The besque was good. The prices were fair, but none of us drank alcohol. Live music was setting up, but we left before it started. Parking is tough, but we lucked out and got a spot on our second go round. It was windy sitting outside, but it was bareable. It was a Friday late afternoon and we had a short wait. I'm sure the wait was longer as the evening went on.
Our party of 4 had only a 10 minute wait or so for a busy night. Staff was awesome and great atmosphere inside and out. Were a bit disappointed live music was finishing up. Reasonable prices. This has been a repeat stop for us.
