Really enjoy breakfast from Mrs. Mac’s. It’s ALL been really good. I just wish they were open on Sunday and Monday. It seems like Im craving breakfast from here, at least once a week, but often they are closed that day.
Such a cool place especially if you’re a car person. Very nice staff and probably the best chefs salad I’ve had in a long time!
This is a small down home eatery. There are only about 10 tables in this restaurant. This was my first time there but apparently there are many many regulars that keep on coming back and this creates long lines waiting for a table. They do have a bench outside to sit while you are waiting, but it can only hold about five people. So you are left standing, for a while, in my case about 25 minutes. There are specials everyday. I was there on a Thursday, and everyone in line was talking about the Thursday special which is meatloaf, homemade and supposedly delicious. I did not try it but everyone was raving about it. The owners and workers are down home friendly and know many people by name. I really wanted to enjoy my first time experience there, however the long wait and having to stand for 25 minutes, really dampened the whole experience.
We were visiting Vero for the afternoon and wanted to try a local restaurant. Based on reviews we chose the Fillin' station. There was about a ten minute wait to get a table and I was surprised about that based on the exterior - which is a strip mall. The interior is pretty cute, all automemoribila - definitely a throwback type of atmosphere. The service was really good, attentive waitress, clean tables - the menus could use a wipe down though. The food was good. Not anything fantastic but good, down home, Americana favorites.Portions were reasonable, not huge or tiny. I thought the prices were maybe a bit high given the portions. Two of us ate lunch for $40ish- which was one app and two burgers and fries. It seemed like a lot of locals eat here, not many people needed the menu. All in all, we'd eat here again.

We waited a hour to be seated today , when we we're seated we ordered right away, they Best blueberry pancakes and home fries we had in a long time.Omelet was good as wellBiscuit could be little betterRemember , this place been in business for 30yrs, so with a line outside they are definitely doing something right.Yes , ya'll may not like the fillin station vide on the inside but the food and servers do a great job.We will be back .
Cute menu for good selections. Friendly service. Small place. Long wait on busy days. Decor was back in time. Definitely a filling station atmosphere with shop rags as napkins and gasoline pump handles as door knobs’n
Be ready to spend a long time waiting for a table, then waiting for your food. For us it was about 1 hr. The food was good! The people were very nice. It's a fun little place. I would go back again if I'm in the area.
