Really great batter for chicken and livers ... Good home style food. We found this while visiting Indian River area.... Melbourne Fl. location had shut down so it was nice to find this one!
My first love of chicken started with this restaurant in Melbourne FL. I grew up eating this chicken and used to work with the owners daughter Allison in Tallahassee FL. It is remarkable and I thank you for never changing the recipe.Miss the cold chicken deal. We bought extra food to take back from Vero Beach, FL. Don't ever close please. My love for chicken is because of your food. ????????
Just got off the phone with the manager and I am astonished at the service and Staffing. The vibe is always giving life and laughs ? the people who work there make this establishment worth every visit! The Recipe is worth the loyalty! Maryland fried chicken is DEFINITELY A FIVE STAR ⭐ RESTAURANT in a SMALL part of the universe ?
This place sucked. You have to place your order with a cashier person that doesn't care about you. You get that negative vibe right away. Then when you check you order and it's won't the cashier rolls her eyes at you. Yup... It's that kinda place.
The chicken was ok but not consistently seasoned. The sides saved the meal. Can say the family been to better chicken places.
Best chicken around, hands down! And make sure you get a box of gizzards! Their sides are delicious too!
I have not been to a Maryland fried chicken in a while, I was looking forward to getting a nice crispy piece of fried chicken. I ordered the Spicy Southern fried chicken sandwich combo... The sandwich was absolutely disgusting, soggy bread and the chicken breast was thin, the crust was completely soggy just a nasty mess.. This was eaten only about 5 mins after I walked out the door with it... I could only imagine what it would be like if I had waited longer..Absolutely no crunch. The crinkle fries were not crispy either, the only thing that tasted good out of the whole meal was the sweet iced tea . The rest of it I just threw in the trash. I should have gone to KFC instead. If this is truly a Maryland Fried chicken franchise... they should shut it down!

Place is old and tiered looking. lacking in cleanliness, big time fodd i order was mediocre at best, wont be going back again.
