Stopped in around 2:00 in the afternoon a few days ago, having heard about this chain, and wanting to try it out with a friend. As we entered, (it being somewhat after the lunch rush), we were told, "Sit anywhere you'd like." The place had indoor and outdoor seating, and it soon became evident that they didn't have enough staff waiting the tables for both places, or to "sit anywhere you like." After a fifteen minute wait, a waitress came over and asked us what we'd like to drink, and dropped menus on the table. Ten minutes passed, our soft drinks came, and we were told, " I'll be right back to take your order." Yet another quarter of an hour passed, it is now pushing the clock to about 2:35, and our order was taken - easy peasy - 10 flats and an order of sweet potato fries. Twenty minutes later (to be fair, the menu says that it takes about that long for the wings), and our order was placed in front of us, and we began to eat. The food was impressive and well cooked, and for the near $20 price of the wings they were large and quite meaty, and the fries were freshly made. As we were eating, the waitress rushed past, dropping our check on the table, never once asking if we needed a drink refreshed, or if we planned to order anything further We got out our money and tips (I had a generous 25% put aside) seeing how frazzled the two waitstaff and the bartender were. Again, we are now waiting yet another near quarter of an hour to pay the bill, and finally, as the waitress approached, I asked politely if she would please come over, as we had to leave. It was nearly 3:45 in the afternoon. She yelled over the entire room, "Can't you see I'm busy? I'll get there when I can!" When she finally graced us with her presence, she said, in a huff, "Is there anything else I can get you?" I replied, "May I please have a container, so that I can take half my order home? That is all that is needed. She left, came by, and slammed that container down on the table in our booth so loudly and forcefully, that it startled the diners at the two tables across from us, leaving them shaking their heads. Needless to say, for the first time in my life, I left the exact amount, removing the tip, as did my dining friend. A word to the management - when you find yourself understaffed, close off the amount of tables necessary so that your staff can give the proper attention to each of their customers. Both were running inside and outside, and back and forth to the kitchen, obviously overwhelmed, and this one older woman - no kid - ended up taking it out on the customers, which is a huge no-no.
We went late at night in April 2022 and had Taylor as our server. She was absolutely amazing and gave us a wonderful experience. She was friendly, polite, and created a jovial atmosphere. Management should take note of what an asset she is.The food was great! I give full props to the kitchen staff. Everything came out hot, fresh, and delicious. I will definitely be returning.
Attended a private party in one of their back rooms .There was about 20 of us and one server but she was very good. Orders were taken, delivered on time ,correct and at the proper temperatures. No masks were worn that I noticed and seating was it normal spacing which would be the only drawback if I had been there for a normal outing. Most of us had just appetizers but if you ordered their dinners. Two couples were disappointed because they had no tuna in any form so they had a switch to something else.
I rarely post bad reviews. In fact, I try and post raves as much as I can. The owner of the Vero Beach Hurricanes needs to go. I am absolutely appalled at the quality of service that not only I received, but several other patrons received as well. My husband placed a phone order at 742 tonight. Said it would be ready at 813. I walked in at 814, took 3 minutes for someone to acknowledge me, and the bartender went to check. Came back and said it would be 20 minutes, which is already terrible. 50 minutes for 25 wings and an order of fries. While waiting up until this point, I watched a table get sat and left bc they didn’t get served, and watch the bartender, who had picked up a table on the other side of the restaurant take food back to the kitchen. When I came back in 20 minutes later, the bartender was taking 3 baskets of wings away from the same table that had a problem when I first came in. I heard her say the owner told her to take 50% off the bill, and then was told to take the food away. Not sure of the circumstances, but that was not pleasant to watch. I waited another 15 minutes before the bartender came back and said it was still going to be longer. At that point I asked for a refund. That took another 15 minutes. Bartender came back and said the owner processed the refund. It I wanted a receipt, which they couldn’t provide. Other patrons at the bar said how bad the service was and how incredible it was that the owner wouldn’t come out after how bad the service had been. She was certainly hiding. Another server finally went back and took screenshots of my refund on the computer that the owner was in front of. That was at 9:04. The front of the house and the food runner were mortified. I asked again, just to clarify, “so the owner is back there and won’t come out here?” And they said that is correct. I asked for her name, which they said was Nadia. So here I am, and I plan on taking this further. The franchise deserves to know that during the time I was there it lost hundreds of dollars. And the owner didn’t care. Not one bit. We have eaten there several times and love the food. But we will not be back for a long time. It wasn’t busy. Front of the house was staffed. Back of the house? I don’t know. But as an owner, it is her job to make it run efficiently, or fix the problem. You did not. And you let your staff down and they are embarrassed. I hope to find a way to report you. It’s a shame, really, because we love the food and the front of the house. Shame on you, Nadia.
There was 11 of us tonight celebrating my daughter's boyfriend's birthday. We're doing sort of a small pub crawl. Well he doesn't get a birthday cake because it took forever the service was terrible the food was cold. We will never return to this place. Just unbelievably bad all the way around. He doesn't get his birthday cake because the next location we were supposed to go to will close by the time they get there. We had it all set up and they dropped the ball. Table next to us got up and walked out.
Sat there for a good 30 minutes before everybody at the table had their drinks. After finally taking orders for half the table we were told there was no more ranch dressing. What kind of wing place runs out of ranch dressing? Was close to an hour and a half before our food arrived luke warm at best. No silverware was given, we had to get it ourselves. Then we had to interrupt a servers meeting so that the last person at our table could get their food which was mostly cold by this point. It was an incredibly frustrating experience with organizational failures from the top down.
Great food and great atmosphere
Everything I ordered was great! The cocktail sauce was a surprising new taste I was not expecting. Like hot sauce mixed in. My taste buds want more. ?. The cocktails are actually fairly priced which can be a shocker in this town.
I go often my boyfriend loves their wings. I think their food isn't all that and the wait staff is terrible. I prefer to go to Fort pierce when we do go and wait 45 mins for a table. Their wait staff is much better.
Terrible experience. Cockroaches literally jumped on my table twice and my family and I are still scarred from it and it happened January 6th, on my birthday. What a treat! We barely touched our food when it happened and they still charged us with a small discount. I called later on and insisted I be totally refunded because we didn’t even eat, and it was just disturbing to be eating in a restaurant and have cockroaches on your plate. Not that I would have ever wanted to go back - but, a gift card or something would have been a nice OFFER.
