Finally tried this place and so glad I did.Had the deep fried flounder with gouda cheese grits. Served with sausage, peppers, onions and tomatoes with a tomato sauce and lobster cream sauce. When I was told they made their own biscuits I had to try one. Too much food for this big guy, but so glad I made the attempt! Will return to try the creme brulee French toast.Check it out!
This is a great new gem. The food is so good. I had their Southern Caesar and it was so amazing. It had herbed goat cheese, ham, fresh lettuce and their buttermilk ranch was delicious.They have incredibly reasonable prices.The place is in a doctor's complex but dining in makes you feel like you are in the country. There is indoor and outdoor seating.Everyone loved their food. So fresh! And... when they say "from scratch" they mean it.The service was also friendly and attentive, but not overly so.I'll definitely be back.
Every month I look forward to my Drs appointment, not for the appointment itself but, for the chance to have breakfast at "The Grit", food is always delicious, and the Chicken Fried steak and eggs never disappoints. My waitress Sarah was very kind, helpful and super attentive to my needs. Thank you Sarah for making my morning an awesome one.
I had the garden omelette with home fries and smoked Gouda grits and everything tasted fresh and delicious.
Ordered country fried steak and eggs with SOFT scrambled eggs. The were hard dry scrambled eggs & gravy tasted of raw flour. Not impressed
A family member had a procedure at the hospital this morning, so after I knew that all went well, I left to get a quick breakfast.I was going to go to TooJays, but as I headed toward Indian River Drive, I saw the sign for Grit Scratch Kitchen, and I thought I would try a local family owned business instead.I had a wonderful breakfast, including a veggie & cheese omelette, English muffin, home fries, and salsa. Yum! It was delicious! Delivered hot and fresh.The two servers were very friendly and helpful. The ambience was great and the music selection excellent.In the immortal words of the Terminator:I’ll be back!
Smelled good as soon as we walked in. We placed our order. Food was delicious. My Husband ordered the Chicken and waffles. I had the regular. Everything was delicious. Highly recommend.

Stopped here for breakfast with my son after our appointment. THE BEST EVER!!!! Also, the best place for breakfast and prices are amazing. The staff is outstanding and the vibe is terrific!!! I DEFINITELY recommend this place to everyone. Sailer was our server and she was amazing. She was very polite,respectful and knowledgeable. I absolutely loved my visit here today and will definitely return!!
