We had a fantastic evening drinking cocktails and eating snacks.the barman was Ryan a really nice guy
I had fond memories of this place prior to Covid. This was a very nice relaxing place that offered fun night time activities such as karaoke and trivia. Now it’s just a bar with a sub-par menu. It does have a nice terrace view of the ocean, however there is so much potential that this little jewel could be. Bring back the cool night time activities to give adults some fun things to do. I love the Vero Beach resort but this place adds no value in its current state. Bring back the fun activities at night!
This used to be a fun place to hang out at night. They had Karaoke, Trivia games, and other activities. Evidently someone complained so they ended it all (leave to some fudy-dudy to do so in todays world). Now, this is just a boring, vastly underused area at the resort. Disney Management: how about returning to your roots of fun and bringing back the night time activities? There are now only two activities to do at night at the resort - movie night and a camp fire. Neither am I interested in participating. The nightly activities at the Green Cabin were fun and something to do at night. Now there there is nothing.
It's always nice & relaxing atmosphere. I wish they brought back trivia nights . Gil's at the bar area attentive and don't seem to mind to go extra mile to please customer's.
We had drinks here three out of our 6 nights. Lovely, friendly, great people/CMs at work and interacting with guests. Some food offerings/I think they are running down to the kitchen/restaurant. Besides drinks, we only ordered Key Lime Pie. Great view of the ocean. Outdoor seating. We did notice tables were not cleaned when we sat. Only pet peeve.
Best best place in the world to have a drink and contemplate the meaning of the universe. :-)
Very nice place
I think this is one of the most legendary Disney bars in the world. It’s not connected to the S.E.A. lore of the Parks, but could be. The patio overlooking the ocean is sublime. If that patio was in the Parks, Disney would be charging $299 for a drink party up there every night. But here, you can just walk up and enjoy. Our bartender, Stephanie, took care of us two nights. She made excellent drinks (try her Old Fashioned) and was very caring if we liked them. This bar atmosphere is dark woods, treasure/expedition-themed props, and a beautiful mural on the ceiling. Come check it out. Disney fans- I think this bar alone is a reason to come to Vero Beach Resort. You won’t regret it.
What a great way to end your evening, fabulous drinks, fantastic view & terrific service!!
We loved loved loved the old world ambience (compete with a vintage map on the ceiling and nautical design elements everywhere) of this bar at the Vero Beach Resort, and opted to go there several times during our stay. The bartenders were kind and there is a great view of the ocean when sitting at he bar or outside. We would have liked a cocktail menu that was more complex than the standard ones at the Disney parks, but the bartenders accommodated our request is extra fruit in a glass of sangria. You can also order food here that comes from the kitchen below (think flat bread or a simple cheese board)—we also would have loved a few more options but appreciated that the staff said we could bring any food from the quick service restaurant below up to the bar to enjoy.
