The sandwiches are good, but they move extremely slow. Was told it would be 20-25 minutes for two sandwiches and two salads but actually ended up taking 50 minutes. Definitely not coming back anytime soon or recommending them to anyone. If it’s going to take longer then just say that in the beginning when I’m placing my order.
I use to eat Dogwood sandwichs in Gulfport Ms all the time but hurricane Katrina took the sandwich shop away. I thought I would never have another one again. I got a taste for one while working in FT Lauderdale and searched for Dogwood sandwich and this restaurant comes up. On my way to Ocala I decided to take a detour and it was the decision ever. This was my first time there and I can say the Dogwood sandwiches I ordered were great. The bread is soft and the meat is very delicious. I can honestly say I would drive 2 hours for another sandwich.
Definitely a 5 Star Restaurant but went today Saturday April 16th 2022 and no one was there. No sign No note. Just closed. Maybe our of business not sure. Called the phone number and no message. My daughter came from Tampa and was dying for a sub!!!! Not sure what happened!!! Hopefully they will be open next week.
Food is amazing!! Service was spectacular!!! Highly recommended! They were pretty busy and food still came out at faster then I thought it would. The entire staff was super friendly!
I swear people in Vero Beach have no clue what a good sub shop should be! the food here is incredibly bland... it doesn’t even get served with pickle or chips it’s actually a bar inside a deli we waited 20 minutes to get our sub served and one was just a tunafish... the bread is very doughy and nothing special go to Publix believe it or not their subs are actually better. Or better still is Girodanos
Great food, but never open on time. Always some reason why they can’t open at 11.“ we can’t open till the owners arrive “. Get it together. Change your hours or hire a manager. Other than that Great food!
first time there we ordered a 1/2 chicken parm sub and a whole italian. after waiting 25 min and other people getting their food we asked about our order. we were told they were waiting for the italian food to came in ( why noy tell me before like when i ordered) so isaid fine give me my money back she gave me the money back for the italian sub but she kept the tip i assume because of the great service. try other sub shops not this ripoff place
Delicious !!Very clean inside .. and a fun vibe.Sandwiches were fresh and hot !!Definitely *not* a run of the mill place.BLT had loads of thick, well-cooked bacon and fresh vegetables.Dagwood was piled with meat snd fresh vegetables.Pricey .. but well worth it.
Amazing sandwich, we had the Prime Rib with mushrooms, peppers and cheese. It was amazing! The prime rib was deliciousWill definitely be going back. Prices are great too
This is the best sandwich shop in the vero I have eaten at. They make their bread fresh, they smoke their own meat. I personally had the steak and cheese. All I can is wooow. Keiley, the server, was very helpful and friendly, very welcoming , explaining the menu. The owners were there in cooking. Also very very friendly. Sitting by the front, everyone was also raving on how good their food was and how fast the service was. The bathroom was clean, even it it was rush and the beer was cold and fresh.
