We had lunch here, with 4 different types of fish on the menu cooked to order and several salad options. Also burgers, mexican food, etc. Hard to decide! Decent wine choices also. Wait staff was friendly and efficient. We will return.
Awesome experience: Bartenders Joey and Ritchie are great.
Went for the first time ever last night. Great experience.....from a fun time in the bar striking up conversation with regular ( very nice to meet you NoCal!!!), to an awesome dinner in the dining room. Cold beer, hot steak, great people....left me wanting more so, will be back!! Thanks!
Bobby’s used to be a regular spot for us. I particularly liked their steak tidbits over garlic bread. The beef used to be very tender and flavorful. Our last two visits were mediocre at best. Both times the steak tidbits were extremely chewy and bland. The rest of our food was just ok. It is not nearly as good as it used to be. I can’t say I will never go back, but with so many great choices in Vero, it certainly will not be at the top of my list.
Our experience was disappointing. It started off good. Ice tea, salad, rolls came promptly then our meal.I ordered sea scallops and husband ordered veal marsala. His veal was paper thin and so dry. He couldn't finish it.The scallops were ok, nothing to write home about. The dishes were cleared the waitress didn't ask us during our meal if it was good and didn't ask if we wanted dessert, she just put the check on the table. When she came to collect the money I politely told her to please inform the chef that the veal dish was too try and not especially good.Oh well...
FANTASTIC, great service, great food, wine a little pricey so we (my 2 sisters and I) opted for cocktails which were great. I had the French dip, yummy my 2 sisters ordered the ribs. The ribs were fall off the bone delicious, sauce was perfect and their homemade potato salad and coleslaw were perfect sides. These ribs were so good we went back the next day and got 3 orders to bring back to the house. Bobby's is now our go to place in Vero Beach.
No more Bobby's recommendations. We've definitely noticed a change at Bobby's. With no manager to run the restaurant the food just isn't as good, mediocre at best, some of the servers have become quite rude and if you're dissatisfied in any way the concern goes nowhere. Over the years we've had some great times and fantastic food there, sad to say but until they get their act together, we'll spend our money and take our friends and family elsewhere.
I love the French onion soup. I like most of the food. Service was excellent. A bit pricey. Menu states no individual tabs, so if you come with a group expect one tab. Wheelchair access is questionable. Parking can be a hassle sometimes.
Very rude staff. Waitress cleared table and food while my companion was still eating.I pointed out to waitress that he was still eating and she told me that every time I was there there was a problem. Asked to speak to owner and was told by staff that owner Bobby doesn't care. Haven't been here in over a year. Lost 2 loyal customers! Expensive. Mediocre food. Staff and owner think they are doing you a favor..
I have visited Bobby's several times now, both sitting at the bar and having dinner at a table. Every time has been a good experience. Joey and Terry, the bartenders the night we were there, are awesome, great energy! For dinner I had the scallops and they were okay, could have used a bit more flavor. Prices are a bit high, but that is to be expected at the beach I guess. I've also had lunch out on their patio, very nice shaded area. That day I enjoyed a Mai Tai which was delicious! Will definitely return next time I'm in town.
