Let's start out with the positive. The staff were friendly and welcoming. When you eat the most important thing is taste. Taste was horrible. My taco salad was drenched in sauces that made it mush. The chicken was poor quality. Tasted my wife's nachos and the meat was over seasoned and Salty. I was not expecting great from this chain but I wanted at least good. It was poor. Spent 27 dollars on an upset tummy. I guess I will stay with more authentic restaurants.
Every time I've been in there, the staff is friendly! Nowadays, that seems to be unusual so it's nice that the employees look happy to wait on you! Plus, you get generous portions for a fair price! I always have leftovers and it's always yummy!
Would give 5 stars if some of the food was better seasoned. The rice and beans are super bland as well as the guacamole but the meats and toppings are all fantastic. Love their chips!
If your looking for a Chipotle Alternative, this is not your restaurant. Moved to the area in February and kept passing it and said “ we need to try that place” I’ll save you the trip . Don’t bother.The Carnitas meat in the taco was so watered down and no flavor , the lady put so much sauce on it, they were laying on the side. No taco holder or even a piece of card board to sit them upright . Your better off getting a taco salad. I wound up using a fork and scraping everything off the soggy tortillas.She had to go over and look at the receipt of the customer at the register . So my food sat there a good minute getting cold. In fact , it was by the time it was rang up and we sat down to eat.The floors and tables at this restaurant looked like they had not been swept all day or cleaned off after customers.On top of it.”, my daughter had to sit there and face a worker , probably on his break . Rubbing a girl all over her legs above n below table . So inappropriate. He should not be doing that in the restaurant. Especially in his uniform. Take it out to the car or when your not at work. So unprofessional. Not sure who the manager on duty was. But this place needs to be cleaned up.We no longer have to wonder if this place is any good . Our question has been answered :
Worst food ever! It’s a joke to say this is authentic Mexican food.? Absolutely no flavor at all tacos were terrible soggy and watery. The same with my burrito. At least they refunded my money. I’ll never go there again. And it wouldn’t hurt if they cleaned the kitchen ugh what a mess! I could see from the register looking in it hasn’t been cleaned in a long time. Gross! I stick to the taco trucks around town and have real Mexican food.
Having been a Chipotle fan, I was eager to try a different but similar thing. My parents (my mom is not usually a fan of Mexi-cali or Mexican food) have been here a few times and I finally got to join them. I’m a BIG fan! The bowl with the grilled chicken, all the works, garlic cilantro sauce, etc… everything was amazing! But the shining point was also the staff here. Every person we encountered was kind and patient. Smiles all around. We will be back. Often!
Foods Fresh, but Staff is disorganized.I heard about this place before that it was a kind of like chipotle, or Moe's style restaurant where you can get fresh great Mexican style food out. This made me want to try it while I was in town but I had an extremely disappointing and frustrating experience.To explain it shortly their staff is extremely disorganized, and messed up my order four times while I was there causing me to wait a lot longer. They also tried charging me twice for the same meal I purchased. I can make my assumptions about why they're so disorganized but instead I'll just leave it at... the owner needs to hire better staff and people with restaurant experience.
Visited today walked in the appearance of the food display was messy no attempt made to wipe spills on the lids, pans or counter. The server was sweating or had a ton Vasalin on her lips the ground beef was unappealing looked pale and strange. I felt like running out but said let me try and see if it will taste better then looks... and I was right on my suspicion the burrito was not great. I gave 2 stars because the chips were good ? but that burrito was notBut at least I finally got to check the place out and can now cross it off my dinning list all that money we pay someone should tidy up for customers it wasn't no other customers in there but me, a man who came behind me and two people sitting at a table. So no excuse for presentation given. Do better
First time for me. I stopped in to pick up a burrito to go. Went with an adobo chicken (which is shredded) burrito. I liked that they had some ingredient options that Chipotle doesn’t have like jalapeños. The onions were also very good. They also toast the burrito after it is done being made. Overall, not bad. After tax it was just over $10.
Food was fantastic but I was extremely disappointed in the service here. I placed a pickup order online and when I arrived I was completely ignored and had to get the attention of the worker, Jameson, directly in front of me. This would be no issue if it was busy, sure, but with no other customers in the restaurant this is ridiculous. I arrived at the scheduled pickup time and despite the restaurant being slow, the order was not even started.
