After we found our regular Thai place closed, our son recommended this restaurant. Very friendly staff and we were seated quickly. The restaurant was full and appeared clean. I ordered a couple appetizers; Fried Calamari and Crab Rangoon. Both were very good, especially the Crab Rangoon. The Calamari serving was comparatively small. My son ordered the Chicken Katsu, which he said was good. This was one of his favorite dishes while living in Japan for six years. My wife ordered the Ginger Garlic Dinner with beef. We both liked it , but found it a little weak on the spices. We found this to be the norm at Thai restaurants around certain populations. Our daughter-in-law had sushi and a curry dish. Sushi was good but found the Curry dish a little weak. Having lived in Asia for over 7 years and traveled to Thailand on numerous occasions, we tend to find most Thai food, in the states, tastes a little underwhelming. On the plus side, we have found that if you are a regular and speak with the staff about your travels, your flavor experience will be enhanced.

Best sushi around, thai food is amazing too!!! Love the panang curry and that their sweet and sour is gluten free! One of my favorite places to eat in the area.

Tried this place as it was recommended by someone ... however I am not impressed. My husband got 2 rolls for the $12 lunch special and they were almost the exact same as mine. Looking at our food side by side I am extremely underwhelmed with my food. I wouldn't come back as they were all pretty basic rolls, at specialty roll prices. Plenty of other places fairly close that's worth the money.

The 139 positive reviews must be friends and family or people that have never tasted real Thai food. I am always suspicious of restaurants offering a wast varied dishes and doing a 7-10 split (bowling metaphor) on the cultures it dips into. Japanese and Thai food are not the same but sometimes they have Thai cooks and a sushi chef so we gave it a try. The service was subpar to say the least despite the fact that the place was almost empty. I showed her what we wanted on the menu but she still forgot things and didn’t get the substitutes I asked for but ok, we moved on. The fried egg rolls are frozen but not good frozen. The ones I buy at Costco are better, which is a sad thing to say. No chopsticks offered. No sauces on the table. The curry were below average and the meats tough. First and last time for us.

This is a must have dinner for those who favor Thai food- we have done the take out a few times- generous portions and very flavorful! Staff very friendly and helpful

All 5 of us lunch buddies enjoyed our delicious lunch. The service is pleasant and competent. The atmosphere is bistro, a little noisy, but the place was crowded at noon, so we didn’t mind too much. The food is fresh and VERY delicious: Beef soup with noodles, duck soup with noodles, curry, Pad Thai, tuna carpaccio and the Black Dragon sushi roll —— all of it was just GREAT! Their in-between mini course of chicken rice soup, a tiny egg roll and a tiny iceberg salad was a wonderful surprise touch. They also do quite a large takeout business. Hope this place makes a hug splash in the Venice area and environs. Take your (quiet) family there.

Best fried rice I’ve had in Venice. Actually wasn’t shy with their vegetables, most places are. Veggie option actually worth it. Tofu cooked perfectly. Super fresh & hot. Their sushi is dank too. Thanks ??

Update: We went a second time and it was just as excellent as the first time. The waitress even remembered us! I love the tuna poke bowl so much that I had to get it again. Great little place!I haven’t had sushi this good in a very long time. The food was amazing and beautifully plated. The staff was excellent and very kind. Will definitely be back!

The food was superb, the fish was so fresh and delicious.service was great!

This sweet spot gave us one of the best meals we have ever had. Grouper with steamed veggies and rice with ginger sauce was superb, and sushi was delish, crazy sushi. Seating could use improvement and they need a bigger space. But you can't beat their food.
