Marshmallow Coke ??That’s right. Marshmallow Coke! My parents are visiting, so I’m taking them to a few of my favorite food places in town, which includes an old-fashioned soda fountain where you can enjoy drinks in a variety of flavors, including MARSHMALLOW COKE!!!Just trust me, it’s delightful.

REALLY amazing pickle chips. Lots of great drinks too. A lot of great options. Good for lunch or dinner.

Nice little place to a quick bite. Excellent service and well prepared food. Highly recommended.

I understand it has grown more expensive to eat out, but this was a bit much. $25 for a slice of pizza, a Coke, and a chili dog with fries. The fries were good, the service was good, but the pizza was not very good and the wife didn't even finish it. The chili dog was okay. And when was the last time you received a 3.99 percent surcharge for using a credit card?

Great little place downtown. I had the Strawberry Fields sundae - so good! Excellent service provided by Marissa. Definitely enjoyed the outside seating. Nice and shady.

Went to grab dinner with our sons who were in town, walked in, no one said anything to us at all, so we went and sat at the counter area as seats were open, of course we were waiting for it to be wiped down, as the area had food crust etc. the ladies behind the counter were frustrated and busy, and miserable, we sat there at least 5 to 8 minutes before one acknowledged us. She ask what we wanted, we said can we have a minute, she said ok and walked away to wait on someone else, she never ask if we wanted a drink, wtf, poor poor customer service, never cleaned the counter, we sat there another 10 minutes watching them actually dish out ice cream that was partially melted, that did not seem right, then several customers came over and said they were leaving, they had sat 30 minutes or more and never waited on, a couple then came in the door and was waited on immediately and taken to a seat, hmm must of knew them, we then were done, we got up and left this miserable tourist trap, the health dept should be called, and the people fired or closed, no customer service what so ever. We are locals and have told all our friends etc. We will never return to this place. Actually quite a few tourist traps in venice that our family and friends will never return too. We will keep our money in our pockets.

It's a unique and friendly ambiance place. Their strawberry banana malt milkshake tastes like the Philippines ice scramble and it brought me back to my childhood happy place. Their Italian sub tastes good. I highly recommend it.

The service was the worst part of the whole place. Our waitress was RUDE and needs a new attitude or job! It was bad enough we had to wait an hr for one pizza but on top of it our waitress didn't check in with us, didn't offer us drink refills after waiting an hr and then after the 3rd time of her walking by throwing stuff on our table (pizza racks etc) and then hanging out with a friend and a child while we sat there still with no drinks. At that point I was beyond irritated and spoke with the manager about the poor service and requested a new waitress and for the remainder of our visit was given dirty glares. The pizza was okay but not worth an hour wait. I was so excited to try this place for the first time but will not return as the food is not worth the wait and the service needs an upgrade or an attitude adjustment!

I was so looking forward to going to this place after receiving a gift card for Christmas. If your looking for an old fashioned soda shop this is not it. Putting vintage looking signs on the walk will not cut it. That's not my main complaint. I ordered a black and white ice cream soda. It looked good but the soda was so warm that when I pushed my ice cream down into the soda it immediately melted. No more ice cream. I waited for a few minutes for the waitress to come to my table. When I told her it was warm. She said the mug was cold I don't understand. I sent it back and ordered a vanilla egg cream. We then placed our food order. I ordered a BLT with fries. My husband ordered a personal pizza. I could not believe how long it took to get our food. The place was not even busy at the time. The pizza was hot that was the only good thing my fries were soggy and cold. She never asked how our food or drinks were. Even when my husband refused the pizza box for the left overs she brought over . I will not be returning and no I'm not a tourist. Total disappointment. I'm sure they will be ok with all the tourists traveling through.

In my humble opinion, if you go to Venice and don’t go to The Soda Fountain, you wasted a trip. This local classic soda shop and pizzeria is a gem. The food is amazing. I’m partial to the Italian sub. It’s my go to when I come here. Their fries look simple but are absolutely fantastic. They have a crispness/crunchiness when you bite into them and the center is perfectly cooked and soft. Their pizza is some of the best in the area. You can load it with toppings or go the simple route with just cheese. Either way, you will not be disappointed. Parking can be a bit of a hassle in season because it’s on the busy main drag of Venice. If you’re staying in the area, take out could be a good option for you. If you want to wait and sit at the restaurant, it’s worth it. Plus, you can stick around for dessert.
