Visited the Old Salty Dog in June of 2022 with our large dog. Sat on the back deck which is dog accessible from the outside. Staff and patrons were very dog friendly and served up water and a biscuit for our guy. We had the grouper bites which tasted fresh and were perfectly done. Beer was cold. The back deck is spacious and includes a bar. Plenty of covered space in case of rain. Enjoyed our visit, will be back.

Great place to eat. Fun environment and friendly service. Had the Grouper Ruben and it tasted great. Definitely will go again. You can bring your dog too!

This place’s food sucks, and it’s uber-expensive.

I had the their signature “our famous old salty dog” which was delicious. I added cheese and relish. You can get your hot dog anyway you like, very customizable. It’s better than anything you’ve ever bought at the grocery store, it is legitimately really good. With that being said, they are more than hot dogs and have other things like fish and chicken and salads on the menu which I saw plenty of other patrons ordering as well. Everyone seemed happy and having a good time. They are very dog friendly, but also have an indoor option as well depending on your preference. I would definitely go again!

We enjoyed a nice lunch with friends with good cocktails. We sat next to a couple of huge dogs which is quite unusual in France where we live. But it wasn’t a problem.

We met some kinfolk there on their recommendation. Food was good and the service outstanding. I had the fish and chips, the daughter had a salad, the son had surf and turf and the wife had a steak. Overall, everyone was happy with their order. Had a great time catching up with family and spent quite a bit of time talking. The waitress didn't make us feel like we had to take off, even though they were getting busy. She was, however, very attentive to our glasses and to my son's gluten allergies. Bathrooms could have used a little updating and some attention, but overall, a good experience. Would recommend.

Great atmosphere! We were outside on the deck. Boat seats as barstools-so cool! Our food was good, service excellent! I'll attach pictures of the menu. Seemed expensive compared to other places, but review my menu pictures and see for yourself. I would give 3/5 stars for prices, 5/5 food, 5/5 for service & atmosphere. It was very enjoyable to watch the giant forklifts moving boats around. Clean, nice bathrooms.

We had a luncheon for a large group of retired Maryland State Police troopers on 3/4/22 at the Salty Dog. The staff was very accommodating, handled multiple checks effortlessly and our waitress was very personable. I ordered a pretty standard lunch of blackened chicken sandwich and it was very tender but the bun was a little large for the chicken. Excellent coleslaw. Bathroom was out of paper towels but upon informing the host, he quickly sought assistance to retrieve paper towels and even apologized. Kudos to all of the staff at The Old Salty Dog.

We ordered mussels and many of them did not open. We mentioned it to the waitress who brought the manager over. He said they would be fine to eat but we knew better. And later confirmed that unopened mussels can be dead and toxic. We also ordered the Turkey BLT to go. It had no bacon on it. The Salty Dog was our nearby ‘go to’ restaurant. Not anymore…

We loved the outdoor dining overlooking the marina and boatyard. The grouper Ruben and burgers are great choices. Server was friendly and efficient.
