We stopped in for happy hour and a cold Bud Light. I ordered the half rack of ribs with French fries, they were outstanding. Great service by the friendly bartenders. This is a great spot for casual dining! Thumbs up!
We stopped in for an early dinner with our two kids and we were all happy with our meals! Food was delicious and service was fast. The staff is what made the experience superb though- Lois came over to chat with our kids and told us about a hidden gem of a beach to see dolphins. We went that evening and my kids had a blast! Can’t wait to dine here again on our next trip!
We had a wonderful experience our first time here. Lois, the hostess, greeted us immediately with a smile. She was very attentive throughout our dinner, even bringing our kiddos some fries while we waited. We actually thought she was an owner because she was so kind and attentive. Connor, our server, was excellent and had wonderful suggestions for food. He came back to check on us many times. We will be back!
I don't get to the island often, but when I do I always hit T J Carney's. The bar is large, so I can find a spot. The place is always a happening place. I had an hour to kill, so I didn't eat, but their finger foods and menu items are to die for. I went back today 4-14-2022 to what is now known as just Carney's and had their specials of the day. Pastrami on rye with French frys and a pickle with a Tequila Sunrise. All were Very Good. The bar was quite today, but Jake took good care of me.
Venice was the last stop of our short road trip whilst staying with Family in Orlando and as wandered along, we fell upon this bar. How lucky were we! Immediately, the young lady (I think her name was Kate or Katy) greeted us with a smile and served us immediately advising my partner of the different beers that were available and informed us that it was Happy Hour :) There were a few 'locals' sitting around the bar and we struck up many a good conversation with them and they made us 'Brits' feel most welcome. We asked one of them where's best for food? and he said 'You're in it!' and he wasn't wrong. The friendly barman Colin then presented us with a 'Happy hour' food menu of about half a dozen items at $7 each, so we ordered 4 - to share - and no complaints. Good beer, good food, good service & good company - what more would you need?
Great outdoor seating - excellent opportunity to enjoy the downtown Venice vibe. I had the “Spa Wrap” on the recommendation of my server Conner, who was very attentive and helpful. I would definitely go again if I’m in the area.
Amazing! I love this place. The food is good. The drinks are goods they have amazing live music. It’s just a fun place to go and hang out
Not good. Sat at the empty bar for 10 minutes and was completely ignored by the staff. I thought maybe they were busy cleaning up etc.. But a regular came a few minute later after me and was served right away. Obviously a Towny joint that doesn’t realize who pays their bills half the year.
First the lemonade/sodas tasted like straight chlorine water, the. The food taste like the same chlorine water, the chicken was okay, we order 2 lemonade and they both had totally different color and taste, the pasta was the worst pasta i ever taste, no flavor just chlorine, definitely not a place i would come back to
I took some friends from Orlando, yesterday to the place. I like to go there is a nice enviroment and people can sit outside. We order soups and more things, also the wine was not what we asked, after ordering Merlot, they broght us something like wine with water. :-( Eating one of our soup, we found a plastic lid on it! It was gross.Called the server Joshep, he took the soup back and nothing happened, no apology or manager to showed and still got charged! Kidding? this is how they run the business? I will think before going back or recomending the place. regardless of the location. Note: we had to clear our table and put everything to another table, noone even pay attention, no cleaning, no desinfecting, but I insisted to my friends it was a good place. It was very disapointing for all of them
