the rice bowls are more like a sample of a rice bowl. better like black beans, because that's the majority of the plate, not bowl. 2 fish and chip meals. The adults was half the size of the childs, and the childs dessert , we wouldnt even let her eat it. no drink refills...Not the "old Sharky's" ?

More than I expected today!! Busiest time at lunchtime yet we were sat within 30 minutes outdoors. Our service was excellent by Kasey who was friendly, knowledgeable and offered spot on service with suggestions for the menu too! Highly recommend this place! Food was amazing!
A beautiful spot on the beach, upstairs from the more casual eating spot downstairs. Had fish and chips and it was a nicely sized portion and was delicious. Staff was friendly and gave very good service. Nice view of the fishing pier and beach. Creampuff for dessert was very tasty. Parking was a bit difficult as the public pier and beach seem to share the same lot.
Great service, excellent view. Go early for quick seating and best views. Fish Tacos are great and the seafood nachos are outstanding! Bring an appetite the serving size is huge for the Nachos.
Everytime we go to Sharkeys I always say this is the last time . Well now I know it is . A waitress who wont answer what beers are on tap , pointing to a card on the table . A great way to start your experience . Nachos for $18.00 that should be $12.00 if that ! No Meat and 3 bucks extra for guac & picco that were terrible . My crab cake sandwich which the menu CLAIMS to be 80% Lump Crab WAS NEITHER LUMP NOR 80% . If you had a Hubble Telescope you might be able to find a lump . Burt on one side and served almost uncooked on the other . I will say the fries were good . The water is terrible . I lived in Venice for many years and know the water kind of stinks around here but every other place we have been to thru the years the water was drinkable this WAS NOT . I wet there because my wifes favorite local bad The Trinidudes were playing but you couldnt hear them , speakers all over the place with no sound ! Oue server was average at best . NEVER AGAIN !
The view and the pier are the best part. My food was disappointing. My husband liked his fish and chips (not true chips, regular fries). Our friends liked the nachos and I’ve heard great things about the shrimp nachos. Drinks were fine but not outstanding. Only one option for non-alcoholic frozen beverages. Our server was very good, everyone was nice. My brother and I had fish tacos and the fish was a generous portion but not seasoned well. The Dill Ranch dipping sauce was good. Conch Fritters typical for what I’ve had in the Islands. My daughter had shrimp broiled and grilled and it tasted off somehow, I think it was frozen shrimp, just not that good and it’s hard to ruin shrimp. Wish it had been better but for a $90 lunch for my husband, daughter and it was a bummer. It was fine, a typical tourist restaurant but my advice is there are much better options for seafood in the area based on this visit. Go for the view and get the nachos.
Great food and they pour a good drink! Perfect place to eat outside with a beautiful view of the beach and fishing pier! A go to when visiting Venice!
Loved Sharky’s. It was local, and rustic, and had delicious food. Live music was relaxing. Loved our server. One of my Key favorites
Overall a great energy! There was live music and great views if you sit outside. Indoors is a little diner-y. The food itself is good, but not amazing. You are definitely paying for the atmosphere and the view since it is right on the beach. Prices are pretty typical for Venice (and a place on the beach). Our waitress was so kind and attentive. You don’t come here for the food, you come here for the atmosphere and views.
