Cute little place with indoor and outdoor seating. Would definitely recommend the Country Benedict, it was absolutely delicious!
While this restaurant is in a strip mall, it has stand alone taste and service. Be sure to check out the specials before ordering. The overnight French toast and Cali Eggs Benedict were amazing! The homemade Hollandaise sauce was perfection along with the home fries. This quaint breakfast and lunch cafe is a hit when you are on vacay!
Last week we stopped to find somewhere to eat breakfast on our way back from the Coldplay concert in Tampa the night before. We found this hidden gem tucked away in a small plaza that serves the best breakfast we've ever had. It's like eating at a 5 star restaurant. Each one of the plates we had was outstanding. It felt as if Gordon Ramsey was in the kitchen. I'm getting hungry just thinking about it as I'm writing this review. It was that impressionable. That's all we talked about as we drove back to Miami. But what truly elevated our experience was the world class service that Patti, our waitress, have us. Kudos to Patti for making us feel right at home. My husband's and my go to breakfast place for sure. Never disappoints and today was no exception. Patti knew it was Ian's bday and she dressed up as a present. Not too many places give that type of personal service. Love everyone there.
I was visiting a friend in Venice, Florida and I wanted to go to the best breakfast place in town. Well, this is where we went. Wow, this was a delicious breakfast. Our server, Patti was fantastic. She was super friendly and nice. The Bloody Mary was the highlight of my meal; one of the best BM's I've ever had!!!! I would definitely recommend The Original Word of Mouth.

Simply, great service, great food and great location. Pat is completely beautiful in the way she takes care of you and makes you feel like family. The owners, Shelby and Tori equally make you feel welcome and part of the restaurant. The food is totally amazing. We go there every Friday morning for our "cheat meal" of the week. If you go, I promise you will LOVE it!
Went out to breakfast with the family before heading back north from vacation. Was our first time here and was NOT disappointed!! The meals were big, delicious and the value you get for the $ was amazing. I had the Tennessee Biscuits and gravy, and wow, perfect! We were told about this breakfast place by word of mouth (hahaha) from family who lives in North Port, and we were all super satisfied when we left. Only problem, I wish I lived in the area so I could eat here more frequently! Do yourself a favor, and just go here!!!

For $62 for breakfast. It was absolutely disgusting. The pancakes were dry and eggy. The bacon was dehydrated flakes. And the eggs were horrible. The only thing edible was the fruit. I would not ever go here again.
