This is our new favorite Italian restaurant. And we know Italian food! And Margaret provided such wonderful service.Update... a week later, Margaret was still wonderful...our friend Lisa said had the gorgonzola chicken was so pleased with the balance of flavors that we're coming back to try it!
Service good. Chicken della nonna lacked flavor, very bland. Chicken parm just ok.
Service good. Chicken Della Nona was bland and tasteless. Sauce on chicken parm tasted like tomatoes out of a can. Disappointed.
Second time eating there. First time was regular dinner. It was stellar. Last night we had pizza. Not as good. Too doughy and undercooked, even though we ordered it well done.
RECOMMENDATION: Get the stuffed shells! ??Rich, creamy ricotta. Bright red, tangy marinara. Topped with melted mozzarella. Side of soft baked garlic bread sticks. Delicious!Only minor critiques are: (a) volume gets very loud (due to tile floors & stucco walls?), and (b) pasta entrees don't include a side salad; that'll cost you $4-6 extra, bringing most pasta entrees into the $20's per person.Overall, though, for high quality Italian dishes, at a reasonable price, with attentive service, in a convenient location, it is well worth visiting Leone's in Venice, FL.
Where should I even start I usually don’t ever waste my time with reviews but this place is the definition of mediocre. Food was below average at best veal Marsala was tough and my partners chicken piccata was very bland tasted as the sauce had no lemon. Service was decent but for the price there is way better Italian options.
Great place for Date~Nite as well as our Friday evening pizza. This is been our families routine for years now. My husband and I come in at least twice a month. Absolutely LOVE coming to the bar for Happy Hour on Sunday for drinks and Hors d’oeuvres. The bartender Eric is Fantastic and friendly. I recommend this place to all my friends
Wonderful! Amazing food and delightful service. Every employee there was so joyful that it was an experience too. The food is very authentic too.
While trying to support local, we ordered a take out pizza from here for the first time. Honestly, it was awful. The crust was like bread dough, hard and tasteless. The caesar salad dressing tasted like a bottled type. Very disappointing.
Dinner and drinks with friends was way fun. It was Happy Hour so we sat at the bar. Food, drinks and service all top notch. The Italian grinder was overflowing with meats and delicious; took half of it home.
