Stopped in for some good priced seafood and oysters on the half shell. They were the cheapest in the area and were good. Had the Red fish and seafood Gumbo and it was wonderful. The waitress was really good and have a good time cracking jokes with me and my family. Tuesday was all you could eat shrimp as well and was told by my brother that the fried shrimp was the best he had ever had. Would definitely go back.
Found entirely by accident while staying at nearby hotel. Local venue featuring good seafood at reasonable prices. Enjoyed the grouper dinner & all other dishes. Gets congested during peak hours, we went early both times. Staff pleasant but overworked at times due to short staff. No complaints. Will return next time in area.
We met relatives here as it was the midway point between us. Because they do not accept reservations, we used the call ahead process. Unfortunately, it meant nothing and we still had to wait a half hour for a table. I had the Copia Oscar which was not expensive for this type of fish. The crab meat on top was minimal. I would have rather paid more for a better quality meal.
We waited thru the winter season never being able to get in after hearing about the oysters and clams and yummy food. Tonight we pulled in to a half empty lot and restaurant. We were so glad to get in. Well, there were 7 empty tables in the dining room but she could not give us a booth even though 4 were empty. She said we would have to sit at a table. The tables were all very close to others and we preferred a booth. She said they did not have enough help to give us a booth!!!!! Whaaaaaat? They were all in the room together. The help could wsit on us at a table but not a booth? We left. She obviously was working way above her pay grade. Was so rude to boot. I guess we are just not meant to try Left Coast. Thankfully there are plenty of other seafood restaurants around. I will be telling this story and not returning.
Visiting the area from out of town and the concierge at our hotel recommended this place. We really enjoyed our meals. The half order of onion rings seemed never ending and the seafood casserole was superb. Food was fresh, nice, cozy atmosphere and great service. Definitely worth checking out!
Excellent staff, food, and pricing! We surprised them with a group of 10 and they seated us within 10 minutes, and gave us a business card so we could call ahead and not have to wait. Friendly and efficient service. Great food menu and prep. Very reasonable prices.
The place is dirty and the ladies room smells like mold. The worst seafood ever
Visiting Florida and having a great time. We decided to try this restaurant as it was near our hotel. Staff was great until we were seated. Andi our waitress had us wait 10 minutes prior to getting our drink orders which was fine. My brother ordered an iced tea with no lemon. We saw her coming with our drinks in which all of our drinks had lemons. She turned around and came back with no lemons. I’m assuming she pulled them out with her fingers. Gross. She was quite rude throughout our stay and after we got the check there was a mysterious 30 dollars added in which we had to wait an additional 15 minutes to get cleared up. The food was good and the atmosphere was good but Andi has no business being a waitress. Hopefully the restaurant will do something to correct this.
Yep, you're gonna have to wait for a table if you just walk in off the street. This place is busy for a reason. Good food at reasonable prices. Call ahead to be put on the waiting list. Never had a bad meal here. Like all places recently they are short-staffed. If you can, get Dustin as a server. Always conscientious, affable, and efficient. The best server we've come across anywhere, and we eat at a lot of restaurants. Try the seafood steam pots...super!
Great food, friendly staff, reasonable prices!
