This restaurant was amazing. It is family owned/run and they take amazing pride in what they do. Our dining experience was incredible. The food and drinks were top notch. Everyone that waited on us were friendly and attentive. I highly recommend visiting. We will definitely be back.
Simply great! Small, quaint, friendly staff, clearly a family endeavor! Good wine list, but the food was amazing. Beautiful presentation, fresh and delicious ingredients from start to finish!! We can’t wait to go back!
I want to start by saying I loved the atmosphere and the service was phenomenal, the food on the other hand was disappointing. I had really high hopes about their cuisine based on other rave reviews, maybe they had a bad night, but I didn’t think the food was good, the meat sauce and marinara were so salty, the meatballs were chewy and the portions were so small for the amount of money they charged. I wish them well and hope they have much success
My husband and I enjoyed a scrumptious birthday celebration dinner at La Botte that was absolutely perfect from beginning to end. We were graciously greeted and immediately seated which started off the wonderful service and delicious offerings. This was our first time eating there and will definitely remember it when we want to again enjoy fine, authentic Italian cooking. Thank you for making my dinner a very special experience.
Lovely meal, experience, atmosphere! Had the strozzapreti & shrimp, loved the pistachios and bacon white sauce, suggestion a few more shrimp and a bit more pasta would have been a better balance for the amount of sauce to me. Otherwise excellent.
Wow, just wow. Having been a resident of Sarasota county for 30 years, it’s rare to find an experience like this. So much to love here…the daughter the professional Italian chef, smiling sister server, a sweet mom server and dad on dishes.Feel the warmth of this tiny must-have reservation spot. My chef husband couldn’t stop talking about his mushroom ravioli, clams and truffles…and it’s been 2 weeks! My Bolognese was mouthwatering! I can’t remember the last time I’ve finished every bite of a salad-even this was special. The pork chop special was truly just that. The house-made panna cotta with caramel-omg. We can’t wait to return-thank you!

All homemade mains & dessert. Wife's creamy gorganzola sauce with walnuts was decadent. My gnocchi were the lightest, softest pillows of dough I've ever eaten (better than my own). Tiramisu the perfect ending.
Probably the best new restaurant in Venice Fl., excellent appetizers consisting of tender meatballs and gravy, "Polpette Della Nonna", mussels 'Cozze Piccante" were excellently prepared. Fabulous gnocchi's done two ways, rustica and gorgonzola with wonderful asiago cheese and mushroom sauce and other with gorgonzola cheese, walnut and pears were outta site, a must entree..... Very decent Italian wines under $50 makes for a great night if you can put up with the sour puss, rude elder hostess/ waitress, who I assume is part owner?? What a miserable hostess........ Stay out of sight and your mouth shut, if the restaurant can survive her running the front room they should be very successful...Good luck..
First time eating here & both the food & service was good...My cousin & her husband were in town & we had the pleasure of their company...
