The service was very slow and drink refills almost non existent . We were lucky compared to other tables we watched sit without drinks for as long as it took chef to cook all of our meals. So a pretty long time. During whole meal our waitress never stopped by. Chef was super fun and had a great attitude. Food was well prepared. Prices are much higher than other chains. The soup is beef based and isn’t great. Oddly you only get soup or salad but not both. They give you pork dumplings though which is a good idea but they were over cooked and dry. So not amazing service and not amazing prices but chef was great and steak cooked perfectly.
I have eaten at the restaurant a couple times and always had an enjoyable experience. However, I have ordered take out and door dash a few different times and it’s always TERRIBLE!! The food is always bad! You order hibachi and you get old and cold meat that appears to be precooked earlier in the day or even the day before. The sushi has more filler then fish. Whatever you guys are doing with your Togo or takeout orders you should stop and make the food fresh. Will NOT be ordering Togo from this restaurant again.
If we could give 0 stars we would. Our takeout order wasn’t completed, it was missing some rolls. We had to go back and get it, also the food wasn’t great at all. Shrimp wasn’t cleaned at all, there was shrimp mixed with a chicken dish. Tuna had different colors. Didn’t look good at all. Beef and chicken were very slimey/chewy - seemed undercooked. When we ended up calling to complain about it the manager was so rude over the phone, not once apologized. He asked us to come in, when we did the hostess told us he left - which was a complete lie. Once they realized we aren’t leaving until he comes out he ended up coming out from hiding and was beyond rude yelling giving dirty looks and still fighting about the food. Made us bring it back in the garbage bag that we threw it in. Not once did he apologize just kept raising his voice. Terrible food and costumer service!! Please check your food before eating here or best yet try a different place.
Went in for an early meal (locals know when to go out to eat during season) service was excellent, atmosphere was excellent and the sushi was fire! Thanks Kendo for an awesome dining experience
We were there last night. Everything from start to finish was superb. Our chef Zeng was perfect and entertained us in such a fun way. Will be back. Had hibachi , food was excellent .
Good food and good service! The hibatchi tables were closed for Lunar New Year but you can still get hibatchi items. We will definitely come back to try those as well. They have lunch specials Mon.-Fri. From 11 am to 3 pm.
Good sushi. I've been here twice both times did not disappoint. The staff is friendly and food amazing.
Awesome and fresh! Best sushi in Venice. From presentation, to service, to food all are exceptional. Fourth time, but first at sushi bar, and Michael the sushi chef didn’t disappoint!
My daughter and I went for lunch. Everything was delicious! Stuffed poppers were so good. Did come with 4. We ate a couple before this picture lol. Definitely going back! Everything was so fresh!
So glad we tried this spot! We went for the second time last night and the food was just as good. From the outside signage and the interior it was quite Americanized but we wanted to check it out based upon reviews.The sushi was incredibly fresh and the server along with the owner/ manager was incredibly attentive. Fair prices and seemingly quality ingredients. I also appreciated a highlight and featured list of the new sakes although would have been helpful if the server could share knowledge / recommendations to guide us. Oh and they have great miso!!My only request would be to get filtered water or glass bottle options for fresh mineral water as the only option was sink tap water….
