When I come back (and you know it will be for that barbacoa benedict), I will ask to be seated in Cookie’s section EVERY TIME. She gave us 11/10 service, making sure we were well taken care of every step of the way without being on top of us. She did little things that sometimes escape baseline customer service, but make the experience feel smooth. For example, she anticipated our needs before we had to look for her to ask and checked on everything after work arrived, but with enough time that we had a chance to try it. I’ve been to other First Watch locations, but as my husband said to the manager on the way out, “They should call this one BEST Watch.”
Menus
We love First Watch and the Venice location is one of our favorite stops when we are in the area. Cookie is amazing and we love when she can wait on us. She always has a great kind spirit about her and does a good job keeping my coffee hot! The food is absolutely amazing, fresh and your taste buds will explode with flavor. 5 stars for service, food and cleanliness.
We love it! Breakfast and lunch spot. Healthy options. Good service. Kids menu. New menu items added on rotation. Great variety. Cons? Some things are kind of pricey in my opinion. But that's the beauty of choice isn't it? Don't order it. ?
Table were always clean. Quality of food is always good. the portions are small. Nice but Corporate.
I've always enjoyed the menu. The setting and service is always very professional. I ordered off the new menu describing an amazing SW flavored dish with chorizo, peppers, red potatoes etc. Sounds really simple. What I got was burnt peppers, onions and potatoes. The only thing cooked right was the eggs. Cook at the Venice location 2/15/22 should know better. Felt uncomfortable noting this to my server based on past experience with cooks at this low caliber. My server did get 85% tip though.

First watch will not disappoint you with its fresh food and great service! The menu seems to have something for everyone including the kiddos! The Market Hash is amazing. Enjoy! Great outdoor seating.
I love this place it's just hard to get a table most days. Timmi who waited on us last time was an absolute delight and on top of her game. The food is always amazing but my particular favorite is the pecan salad yum.
Fresh squeezed oj! Lemon ricotta pancakes & French toast were large & filling & tasty. Service was quick & friendly. Covered Outdoor seating. I liked paying cashier instead of server, easy to add tip on the pin pad.
