As usual this place is amazing. Food, service (Jennifer) love this place. Best place on the beach hands down. Atmosphere and menu choices every amazing

We've always loved Fin's for the outstanding food, great service and spectacular view & go here often as a couple and with a bunch of friends. We understand with the staff shortages that service has slipped, but it's clearly taken a complete nosedive. That we could almost deal with, but last nights Mahi was horrible. Overcooked, tasteless & smaller than a burger patty. Over 20 minutes for a wine and beer and the place wasn't even half full. No bread, no limes, Caesar salad had bitter lettuce in it, dinner was delivered while we were still eating our salads, each plate brought to the table one at a time - apparently no one was able to carry a plate in each hand. When a glass fell off a nearby table, a waiter that was standing off to the side said yeah someone's going to take care of that - this was a main walking area with glass all over the place that people were having to try to tiptoe around. When two guys arrived to clean it up, one swept while the other watched and they asked the customer to hold the dust pan while he swept the glass at her. This is Not the Fins that we used to Love and we won't be back anytime soon.

We live in town and visit Finns regularly. It is consistently great. Perfect place to take out of town guests. Best view of sunset. Yummy sushi and fish. Steaks are thumbs up too.

Finn's food is much better than Sharkys next door although it is more pricey. The view is also better, wait staff is attentive and professional. Recently we enjoyed the Savor Sarasota menu eating tasty beet cured salmon with generous portions and coconut fried shrimp. For main entrée, we enjoyed the shrimp salad and fish sandwich which was a huge serving and cooked perfectly.

Unfriendly staff unfortunately, we sat outside and it was a nice weather. Food was good, we went with 3 dinner courses. The portion a bit small but they gave complimentary bread and varieties of butter. I like all of them, esp the orange butter!

We came for the happy hour. The environment is really nice.Staff are very friendly. They have nice drinks for the happy hour.Champagne $6. Fins passion rum punch was ok.Meatballs weren’t juicy, flavor ok.Nachos was flavorful. Both rolls we ordered was good.Bao was ok.

Sharkys is located on the beach. The restaurant overlooks the gulf. The views are matched only by the fabulous seafood dishes.

If it hadn't been for our server, who simply couldn't hide his dismay with me, I could have had a wonderful birthday celebration dinner and that despite the fact that they had somehow "missed" our reservation and gave us a tiny table in the middle of the room. Unfortunately, my husband didn't have his readers on and, mistakenly, over-tipped the server :( But other than that...

Could not get a cocktail table because a woman used the extra seats for her rat-dog and bags 8 people on the outdoor deck - server wanted to bunch everyone together at adjacent tables. She kept saying reservation tables are specific: except every time for reservations was available in 15 minute increment. Not busy, not flexible I‘m flexible: bye!

This was out most disappointing meal all week! We had a beautiful table because we made reservations in advance. We started with the octopus appetizer which was tough and not well prepared. It was from a large octopus and generally unappetizing. I then had the cobia for dinner which I also didn’t care for. The rice and salsa were way too sweet. My husband had the veal chop which was just okay. You can skip this place.
