Have been here twice and both times the food and service were superb.
It was getting late on a Saturday night. We are relocating to Florida, driving down, and were tired and hungry, having also driven through some thunderstorms. And then we discovered Chaz51 and Renate. She was extremely welcoming as we entered a restaurant clearly full of locals, enjoying live music and singing along. Evan though we arrived at 9:15 and they close at 10, everyone was very kind and welcoming. It gave us a great impression of Venice as a place to live, and Chaz51 is clearly a community center. But then the food! Two wonderful steaks, loaded potatoes and fresh, delicious salads. Really just what we needed. And thanks to Keith for his great service. Thanks to Renate’s “First Class” service (she had been a senior flight attendant for many years, and brings that concept of service and hospitality with her), we have a great impression of Chaz51 and Venice also. Thank you for a great, welcoming meal in a very family type restaurant. A very nice evening.
Twice recently we have been delighted with Richie and Mo the bartenders unique drinks and entertaining personalities. The bourbon mint drink on the day of the Kentucky Derby was unforgettable. Recently we had 3 rounds of drinks for the 4 of us ending with bartender choice of dessert martinis, YUMMM. The food is amazing especially the Philly cheese steak sandwich, crab martini and sriracha shrimp.

My wife's birthday celebration was on point. Great waiters, from the owner to the staff. Very clean, beautiful place. Food was extra good.
I ordered off the Savor menu, short rib dinner was very good. My husband ordered filet mignon which came perfectly cooked and so tender. The staff so helpful and pleasant. This is our third visit. Never disappoints!

This could have been a better meal, we we a bit disappointed. We started with a nice and reasonably priced bottle of wine. We were never given the dinner specials and didn’t even know they had any until we overheard them read at another table. The salad was crisp and delicious. My filet mignon was perfectly cooked and delicious, yet didn’t come blue cheese crusted as ordered. The parmesan truffle fries were over cooked and lacked any truffle flavor whatsoever. The mushrooms and onions were also surprisingly flavorless. My husbands ribeye was delicious. The decor is trying to be classy, yet has a diner feel. The steak itself was delicious, and I guess that’s why you go to a steakhouse.
The steak was so tender and cooked to perfection. Ahi tuna was very good. We are very pleased with everything about our meals. RAY was our waiter...very delightful and took very good care of us.I do feel like the entertainment should be as good as the food and it was not... that's the only thing... prices a little high but you do get what you pay for... the steak was better than I've had in a very long time ...and what a sweet surprise at the end that was very thoughtful we loved it
Had dinner at Chaz 51 tonight. Our total experience was flawless. Our salads crisp and fresh, our plates stayed hot throughout our entire meal, our steak perfectly cooked. The customer service was fast and precise. I will only go to Chaz 51 for steak. Our compliments to the chef.
